answer to the question…you need to make a strong argument!

- What genre is the text? What is the narrative? Why does this matter?

- How does it make you feel? Are you the target audience, who are? How does the
text appeal to a particular demographic? Why does it appeal to an audience?

- What is the context that the text was produced in? What factors affect its
production, distribution and exhibition? When was it produced? By who?

- What is being represented? People, places, events? How is it represented?


Positively, negatively, what is not being represented?

- What are the ideologies and values within the text? Why are they represented?
What reaction might this incur from the audience? Is the content of the text linked to
a social issue?
