INTRODUCTION
In our generation today, paper works was
considered as manual system. Paper works in
a system was very useful but too much paper
works may cause inaccurate computations.
Payroll is the process by which employers pay
an employee for the work they have done.
Any business with employees should have a
payroll established. A payroll system is
software which organizes all the tasks of
employee payment and the filing of employee
taxes. These tasks can include keeping
tracking of hours, calculating wages,
withholding taxes and deductions, printing
and delivering checks and paying
employment taxes to the government.

 Grand Aces Ventures Inc., early involvement

in the specialized construction products
business started off as in 2002s. Managed by
competent and experienced officers and
personnel in the construction industry, the
company is envisioned to bring quality
products and services to its clients. The
company's goal is to be the benchmark in its
leadership as a supplier of construction
chemicals in the Philippines.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

General Problem:
Grand Aces Ventures Inc. is using a
manual process in processing their
payroll.
GAVI is still using the manual method of payroll
process. The work is time consuming and
inaccurate because of manual data entry,
disorganized summary reports and being
unsecured of private data. In this method, it
will need more time and effort to complete the
payroll of each employee.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Specific Problem:
Miscalculation might occur for the total
number of worked hours of each employee.
Time consuming procedure of payroll.
Inflexible payroll summary reports.
Miscalculation might occur for the salary of
employee.

CURRENT STATE OF TECHNOLOGY

Grand Aces Ventures Inc. early involvement in the specialized
construction products business started in 2002. The company
is located at Unit 3 & 4, 138-142m M. L. Quezon Avenue Brgy.
San Isidro, Angono, Rizal, Philippines. It is locally
incorporated company was formed to promote the quality
products. Managed by competent, experienced officers and
personnel in the industry. The company is envisioned to bring
quality products and services to its clients.
The company specializes in four core technologies; concrete,
cement, polymer chemistries and application services. They
develops and manufactures its own products that meets the
needs of the construction industry nationwide.
The company is still using file compilers for sorting out
different important files of the company. GAVI is using a
biometric to record their employees daily log in and out. The
biometric records the information gathered to a file named.

OBJECTIVES
General Objective:
To develop a Computerized Payroll System
that can minimize the manual process of
payroll in Grand Aces Ventures Inc.
Developing and implementing a computerized
payroll system gives faster transaction, system
generated reports, and will have a more data
security for the client. The proposed system will
reduce the time and effort of payroll specialist
and time keeper in processing the payroll. Once
the data or file from biometrics is read by the
computerized payroll system, it will automatically
compute the salary of each employee.

OBJECTIVES
Specific Objectives:
To develop a module that performs accurate
computation of number of hours worked by
an employee.
To develop a module that can lessen the
procedure of payroll.
