performance; the Teachers Assessment, Mid-Term Test and the End
semester Examination

EXTERNAL and 50 marks for INTERNAL ASSESSMENT)

Preparation leave may be granted to the students as

per availability of time.
The Semester Examination Schedule(as per
AICTE/AKTU) is announced/displayed 15days before the
start of the examination.
The Admit Cards are distributed in stipulated time
Examination schedule will list the dates of the
examination, the subjects, the time and the venue of
the examination.
Once the exam schedule is displayed, it shall not be
changed cannot appear in the examination

UNFAIR MEANS: If any student is found guilty of using

unfair means in the semester examinations then that
student will be required to reappear in the back paper
examination of the concerned subject

PROMOTION TO NEXT SEMESTER:

When students perform the minimum standards of
AICTE/AKTU in all the areas of evaluation viz. in their
INTERNALS & EXTERNALS EVALUATION which comprise
of
TEACHERS ASSESMENT
CLASS TEST/ MID TERM TEST
CLASS PERFORMANCE(INCLUDES GD/PRESENTATION)
ATTENDANCE PARAMETERS..
Then only he/she will be promoted to next semester

Carryover /Back Paper) System:

A candidate will be required to appear in those theory

papers / practical papers in which he/she failed, in
subsequent examinations of the same semester.
Ex Student:
A candidate failing to pass in minimum number credit
papers is referred as ex-student.
Such candidate opting for ex-studentship shall be
required to apply to the Institute by paying only
examination fee as prevailing, within 15 days from the
start of new session.

Results

The result of a candidate shall be declared on the basis

of performance in all semesters of the same
academic year.
Result of the final year students:
shall be declared on the basis of working out Grand
Total by adding marks of all the years of study in the
following ways:
I Year 100% of aggregate marks(minimum 30%)
II Year 100% of aggregate marks(minimum 30%)

Award of
Marks
Sheet/Diploma
Marks Sheet of the respective examination will be
provided to the students within one month form the
declaration of the result.
The Final Mark Sheet containing details of Subject
wise marks of all trimesters of course and the Diploma
Certificate will be awarded at the time of the
Convocation.
However, a Provisional Diploma and Marks Sheet of
the final year will be provided at the request of the
student after one month from the declaration of the

Scrutiny and Revaluation:Scrutiny shall be allowed in only theory papers on

payment of requisite fee as per AICTE/AKTU.
Revaluation of theory/practical papers is not permitted.
Student has to apply in accordance with norms of
AKTU/AICTE for scrutiny.

Challenge Evaluation:
If in any case the student is dissatisfied he/she can opt
for challenge evaluation, the results/decision of which
shall stand undefeated and will stand binding on all .
