NAZISM (NATIONAL SOCIALISM)

During the leadership period of Adolf Hitler (1889-1945), the National
Socialist German Workers Party (or Nazi), was transformed into a mass
movement and took power of Germany by totalitarian (a system of
government that is centralised and dictatorial, it requires complete
subservience to the state in power) means from 1933 to 1945. The
German Workers Party was founded in1919, the group mainly promoted
anti-Semitism (hostility or prejudice towards Jews), German pride and
expressed their dissatisfaction with the Treaty of Versailles.

ADOLF HITLER
Adolf Hitler was born in Austria on the 20th of April, 1889 and he
passed away on the 30th of April, 1945. When World War 1 first out
Hitlers order for
broke, Hitler almost instantaneously applied to serve in the
Action, dated 1st
German army. He was accepted into the German army in August September 1939
1914, even though he was still a citizen of Austria. Though he
spent most of his time away fro the front lines, Adolf Hitler was
present at
most of the significant battles and was wounded at the battle of
Somme. He
was awarded for bravery, receiving the Iron Cross Frist Class and
also the
Black Wound Badge. Adolf Hitler served as chancellor of Germany
from 1933
to 1945 and served as dictator of Germany from 1934 to 1945.

HOLOCAUST
In 1933, the Jewish population of Europe was just over nine million. Most
of the European Jews alive at that time lived in countries that would be
later taken over or at least majorly influenced by Nazi Germany. By the
year 1945, which was the year World War 2 ended, the Germans and
their collaborators killed almost two out of evert three European Jews, in
what they called the Final Solution. The Holocaust was a systematic,
state-sponsored, bureaucratic persecution and murder of six million
European Jews, by the Nazi party and its collaborators. The Nazi party
believed that the Germans were racially superior and that the Jews were
inferior. During the era of the Holocaust, German authorities also
targeted other groups including:
Roma (gypsies)
Disabled
Slavic people (Poles, Russians etc.)
Homosexuals

ADOLF HITLERS MOTIFS

Adolf Hitler had many motifs during World War 2, many of which are still
unclear and debated to this day. One of the most common beliefs is that
Adolf Hitler believed that Jews were the incarnation of all the evil present
in the world (this is known as anti-Semitism) and this led to him
attempting to commit genocide against the Jews at that time, this was
known as the holocaust, though it was not limited to Jews.
Another one of Adolf Hitlers motifs during World War 1, was wanting to in
a way take revenge for what happened to Germany in World War 1. He
felt that the Germans were unfairly treated and believed that Germans
were the pure race which is surprising because Adolf Hitler is not
German himself, he is Austrian.

ADOLF HITLERS MOTIFS CONTINUED

The final one of Adolf Hitlers motifs during World War 1, was that in a
way he was forced to because the Nazi partys economy had been
heading for a collapse, if he hadnt gone to war when he did then there
would have been riots on the streets by the time of 1940 over food
shortages. General Heinz Guderian reported that Hitler stated that
Germany never had and never will have another so capable leader as
myself. Therefore, we have to start now, before I get assassinated or will
be lost to Germany in some other way

The image displayed to the right is
Adolf Hitlers order for action, it is
dated for the 1st of September 1939.
The order for action relates do the
Holocaust (also known as the Final
Solution), it states that the German
army, and officials have the right to
kill and torture not only the Jews but
their business and homes as well.
This was one of the first things that
Adolf Hitler did when he was
appointed as dictator of Germany.

SOURCE 2-PRIMARY
This image displayed to the right is
an American propaganda poster,
there is no official date but I would
think it would have been released
near the start of World War 2.
This propaganda adds a bit of
humour to a serious situation, which
obviously was able to convince the
public into joining the army.
The propaganda poster shows the
Nazi symbol (which is similar to an x
or a cross), and as most people
know the saying x marks the spot,
so this is a clever wordplay
