19. 7. INDIANS CANNOT BE EDUCATED BY MEANS OF
THEIR MOTHER-TONGUE: ENGLISH IS THE LANGAUGE
How, then, stands the case? We have to educate a people who
cannot at present be educated by means of their mother-tongue.
We must teach them some foreign language. For it is proved by
unanswerable evidence that we are not at present securing the
co-operation of the natives. It would be bad enough to consult
their intellectual taste at the expense of their intellectual health.
But we are consulting neither, -- we are withholding from them
the learning for which they are craving, we are forcing on them
the mock-learning which they nauseate.
This is proved by the fact that we are forced to pay our Arabic
and Sanscrit students, while those who earn English are willing
to pay us. We cannot find, in all our vast empire, a single student
who will let us teach him those dialects unless we will pay him.
Our DNA – DISAPPEARED
- COLONOIAL & ECONOMIC VICTIMIZATION –
- Lord Macaulay Syndrome
The eminent historian, T.N. Colebrook, has said, "Compared to the
scientists of Europe, Kanad and other Indian scientists were the global
masters of this field." Acharya Kanad was a genius in philosophy.
He is believed to have been born in Prabhas Kshetra near Dwarika in
Gujarat. He invented Atomic Theory for the first time ever in the world,
nearly 2500 years before John Dalton

." Bhaskaracharya was the first to discover gravity, 500 years before
Sir Isaac Newton. Born in the obscure village of Vijjadit (Jalgaon) in
Maharastra, his work in Algebra, Arithmetic and Geometry catapulted
him to fame and immortality.

Born in 476 CE in Kusumpur (Bihar), Aryabhatt's intellectual

brilliance remapped the boundaries of mathematics and astronomy.
In 499 CE, at the age of 23, he wrote a text on astronomy and
an unparallel treatise on mathematics called "Aryabhatiyam. "
Nagarjuna had discovered the alchemy of transmuting base metals into
gold. As the author of medical books like "Arogyamanjari" and
"Yogasar, " he also made significant contributions to the field of
curative medicine. Because of his profound scholarliness and versatile
knowledge, he was appointed as Chancellor of the famous University
of Nalanda. Nagarjuna's milestone discoveries impress and astonish
the scientists of today. He was born in the nondescript village of
Baluka in Madhya Pradesh.

A genius who has been glowingly recognized in the annals of medical science.
Born to sage Vishwamitra, Acharya Sudhrut details the first ever surgery
procedures in "Sushrut Samhita," a unique encyclopedia of surgery. He is
venerated as the father of plastic surgery and the science of anesthesia

Acharya Bharadwaj had a hermitage in the holy city of Prayag and was
an ordent apostle of Ayurveda and mechanical sciences. He authored
the "Yantra Sarvasva" which includes astonishing and outstanding
discoveries in aviation science, space science and flying machines.
He has been recognized as the pioneer of aviation technology.
Acharya Kapil is believed to have
been born in 3000 BCE –Father
of Cosmology Acharya Charak revealed through
his innate genius and enquiries
the facts on human anatomy,
Acharya Patanjali will forever embryology, pharmacology, blood
To day be remembered and revered circulation and diseases like
Lesser Noble Prizes as a pioneer in the science of diabetes, tuberculosis& heart
disease. In the "Charak Samhita"
self-discipline, happiness and
Olympic Medal but self-realization. he has described the medicinal
qualities & functions of 100,000
More slaved herbal plants. He has emphasized
the Influence of diet and activity
Dhonis on mind and body.
In the name of Global intelligence
• India has more engineering colleges than the World put
together – but we have lost engineering intelligence. Yes we
have gained more patients for Psychiatry( Read Last week head

• Move away from frames and recreate Indian Global view &
