DEFINITIONS
Hemoptysis (coughing up blood) is a condition when a person

has a cough with blood. Coughing up blood is itself a form of


symptoms that can arise due to a number of conditions, either
serious or not. If coughing up blood experienced by the young
who have a history of good health, this is usually not a sign of
