Abstract :
What is a solar cooker?
Types of
solar
A solar cooker is acookers
device
Abstract :
Solar parabolic cooker is chosen
because of the effectiveness to
increase the rate of temperature
as well as the rate of reaction.
Objective :
Our objective is to :
To use alternative energy for
cooking
Make an efficient solar
cooker.
To boil water
Problem Statement :
Does the Parabolic cooker affect
the rate of temperature
increase ?
Does the shape of the Parabolic
cooker affect the rate of
reaction?
Scientific theory :
Scientific theory :
When the UV rays pass and
reflect off the foil paper it passes
through another medium ( air )
before getting to the water. This
is called refraction.
Scientific theory :
The heat gets retained in the same way
the green house effect happens.
The heat comes in then cant get
out.
An efficient solar cooker will use the
energy of the sun to heat a cooking
vessel and efficiently retain the energy
(heat) for maximum cooking
effectiveness
Conclusion :
Our conclusion is that :
The solar cooker has many
benefits for our normal lives.
The benefits of solar cooking is
that we can use an alternative
energy instead of using fossil
fuels or electricity for
generating heat for cooking.
