Neil Armstrong, who doesnt know him? He is
a very popular person in this world. As known
as the first people who trampled his foot down
to the moon, together with his partner Buzz
Aldrin.
Well, my topic today will very relate to both of
them, Armstrong and Aldrin. Although they said
they have ever gone to the moon, but there are
so many people who dont believe them. But,
there are a lot of people who also defend them.
Yeah, there are a pros and cons.

In this time, Ill explain some reasons why

people say that Armstrong is a liar, and the
answer of the defenders. Im gonna start it from
the cons in every reasons.

1. The flag was fluttering

Cons :
From the picture above, we can see that the
flag looked fluttering. It created so many
assumptions that the picture was taken in the
earth, not in the moon.
Because we all knew that, in the space theres
nothing air. Its a vacuum. How can the flag
was fluttering in the space?
This is the first reason people said that
Armstrong and buzz lied if they ever went to
moon. Okay, we have seen the cons, now
were gonna see the pros. Here we go!

Pros :
From the statement in the previous slide,
people said that A didnt go to moon because
the flag beside them looked fluttering. Okay, Ill
give one analysis for you.
When they brought the flag to the moon, sure
they would fold the flag first. It would made the
flag wrinkled. Furthermore, it was folded as
long the trip from earth to moon. It wasnt a
short time.
And then, I have a comparison about this.

Okay, we have seen the comparison from the

picture. Did you attend it? The head of the
astronaut, there was in different position in the
second picture. He moved!
And, how about the flag? It looked same, there
was almost different about the flag in the first
and second picture.
According the statement and the pictures, we
can say that the flag wasnt fluttering at all. It
was just getting wrinkled when it was put in the
moon. So, it didnt move at all.

2. How could there is a footprints in the moon?

Cons :
People said that the surface of moon is dry.
But, how could there is a footprints over there?
Maybe we think that, we can only make it in the
wet sand.

Pros :
Okay, people may said that its weird. But, did
you know, that theres also a gravitation in
moon. The gravitation is 1/6 from the
gravitation in the earth. Regolith, the ashes in
the moon, look like the powder which rolled
until smooth. You can try this at home, you can
use wheat flour or face powder. It will make a
footprint.
And once again, moon doesnt have an
atmosphere, its vacuum. So, there is nothing
wind will remove the footprints.

3. Where is the stars?

We back to the first picture, look at that, theres
no any stars, isnt it? This face created another
speculation that the landing of Armstrong and
Buzz in the moon is only a lie.

Yeah, we have read in the previous slide,
many people hesitated wheres the stars?
Theres nothing any stars over there.
Okay, if like that, Ill ask to you. Do you know
light pollution?
If we want to see stars in the city, it will be
harder than in the village or in the middle of the
sea. Why?
Because, in the city there are so many lights.
The lights make us hard to see a stars. It made
a light pollution. Thats why, generally
telescope put in the peak of the mountain to
avoid the light pollution

In this case, moons surface which reflected

the suns light was being a light pollution and
covered the light from the stars.
It will be weird instead, if theres a star in the
picture. How if you try to take a picture in the
sky at night. Can you see the stars in the
picture?
Maybe it possible for the camera in
millennium. But, how with the camera in 49
years ago? Can we see that?
But, if you use the special technique to take a
picture, maybe its possible to do.

4. Theres so many source of light! Did the picture

If we see the picture, sure we wonder, how can
the pictures got so many lights? The object
looked very clear, as though there are a light
came from various source. Like a lighting in
studio.

Yeah, thats right! There are so many lights
over there! Like in the television studio!
You know why? Because, there are really so
many source of light in the moon! There are a
sun, earth which reflected the lights, moons
surface, etc.
Moreover, one addition for you, that they took
a picture in the hills to get the good lighting.
We cant probably see it from the picture, but
thats the fact!

5. The stones in the moon look like the stone in

Antarctica. Why?
Cons :
The stones they brought back to the earth are
look like the stones in the Antarctica. Its make
another assumption of the truth of their trip.

Thats right! Maybe we can find the stones like
that in the earth, especially in the Antarctica.
Because, it fell to earth from the space. Then,
the stones scorched and oxidized when it was
passing the earths atmosphere as an asteroid.

Then, why do people say that

it was a lie?
We have discuss some reason about that topic.
And, why do people still say that it was a lie?
Well, if we want to try to answer this question,
we must check the history.
Did you know about Cold War? Yeah, the effort
to land the human in the moon, was triggered
by the competition between USA and USSR in
the era of Cold War.
In that time, USA and USSR, the conflict isnt
about war or military aggression. But, it tended

to the science, especially Astronomy.

In 15th April, 1961, USSR was being the first

country who put the human in the space. He is
Yuri Gagarin. And, how about USA?
Thats why USA tried to surpass USSR with
landed their people on the moon. Thats also
the reason, why in the era of Cold War, there
are so many rocket or spacecraft launched
from the earth.
If NASA said, that they have landed their man
on the moon, who is courage to critic them? Of
course, thats USSR. Another super power
country in that era. They werent a usual
country. They have a technology as great as

NASA.

But, although USSR has ruined, there are still

people with the same ideology like USSR and
have a capacity to make a criticism about this.
Their purpose might be good. It could make us
(the layman) know how is the scientific process
happened.
By the way, since the USSR ruined, the
journey to the space is not like the past. Where
USA and USSR were competing each other for
the pride. In fact, the competition can also
make us develop our skill or knowledge. Like
USA and USSR.

In fact, there are still another denial of the
Armstrongs landing in the earth. But, we cant
discuss all of them in here.
Even though, until now this topic is still being
discussed by many people in this world. There
are they who believe about that, and they who
dont.

who can deny it, or you will be the one who
