Current Economic Status


Germany continues to grow more strongly than the other core Eurozone economies,

With GDP growth forecasted at 0.6% this year and 1.6% - 1.7% in both 2014 and 2015.

The GDP growth is expected to average 1.5% per annum in 201617.

The consumption growth is forecasted to average 1.2% a year in 201417.

Unemployment is expected to remain stable at around 5.5% in 2013 and 2014, but then
decline from 2015 as activity expands.
