Phloem blockage, xylem blockage

PREVENTATION

USE OF HIGH TEMPERATURE BY STEAM
HEAT
DESTRUCTION OF INFECTED PLANTS

CONCLUSION
Since the beginning of agriculture, generations of
farmers have been evolving practices for combating the
various plagues suffered by our crops.
Following discovery of the causes of plant diseases in
the early 19th century, our growing understanding of the
interactions of pathogen and host has enabled us to
develop a wide array of measures for the control of
specific plant diseases
The goal of plant disease management is to reduce the
economic and aesthetic damage caused by plant
diseases

Curing or avoiding plant disease?

Any of the previous factors can be interrupted
Cultural control
Roguing, sanitation, plowing plant refuse under,
stirring the soil to expose egg masses, keep plants
healthy, avoid smoking, regulate pH, hot water
treatment of seed,

Chemical control
