VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) is
an oil from fresh coconut
meat and VCO without
mixture of the others
chemical Ingredient. In the
manufacturing procces can
be with controlled heating
or without Heating.

90% and unsaturated fatty acid about 10%

Fatty Acid on saturated fatty acid divided into 7
acid, that is :
1) Lauric Acid (C12)
2) Capric acid (C10)
3) Caprylic acid (C8)
4) Caproac acid (C6)
5) Miristic Acid (C14)
6) Palmitic Acid (C16)
7) Stearic Acid (C18)

1-4 are MCFA (Medium Chain Fatty Acid) and 5-7

are LCFA (Long Chain Fatty Acid)

HEATING METHOD
In this method, emulfisier of coconut milk is
disolved with heating ways. Heating temperature
allowed is at 55-75C. This method too much need
fuel or enegy to produce the oil because in the
prosess heating around 8 hours and stirred
continously. Heating temperature dont exceed
100C,

TRANSPARENT SOAP
Soap is a mixture from oil/fat with
salt akaline through a reaction
known as saponification
C3H5(COOR)3+ 3 NaOH C3H5(OH)3+ 3 RCOONa
Transparent soap is a solid soap ussually made
from VCO and NaOH as well as with the techinique
eliminates the alkali content.In the manufacturing,
Heating temperature allowed is beetwen 60-65C.

PROCEDURE OF MAKING TRANSPARENT SOAP

Mix VCO and
Stearic Acid

Heat at Temperature 5570C and Stir it

Continously

Prepare Alcohol
and Glycerin

Make NaOH Solution

and Sugar Solution

Add NaOH to the

Mixture and keep the
temperature at 60C

Add alcohol, sugar, glycerin

into the mixture, stir them
and keep the temperature

Print The Soap

Add Perfume and Dyes

at temperature 40C
