by people.

Matter has three states.

These are solids.

Solids.
It has its own
shape.
Always ocuppy the
same space. They
dont take the
space of the
container.

These are liquids.

LIQUIDS.

Take the
shape of the
container
that they are

Always occupy
the same
amount of
space.

These are gases.

A bubble contains air that is a gas.

Most gases including the gases in air are


invisibleyou simply cannot seem them.

to blow out a candle.

There are other gases . These


balloons contain a gas called helium
which is lighter than air.

Air like all gases

and expands to
fill its container.

blue balls
have the same mass.

The yellow balls take up


more volume.
