The mission of BASF Chemistry


Corporation is to create
chemistry for a sustainable
future by combining economic
success, environmental
protection, and social
responsibility.

BASF Corporation is the second


largest producer and marketer
of chemicals and related
products in North America.

Headquarters and Structure

BASF North American


headquarters are located in
Florham Park, New Jersey. Its
designed with BASF construction
product that lower energy
consumption.

Wayne T. Smith is the most recent


Chairman and CEO of BASF
Corporation succeeding Hans
Engel

Products and Services

BASF ranges from a wide variety of


products going from oil and gas to
chemicals, plastics, performance
products, agricultural products, and
fine chemicals.

BASF is continuously introducing


sustainable solutions onto the
market contributing to improving the
quality of life and conserving
precious resources such as water
and energy.

Requirements

Required Education: Bachelors Degree (Masters


or Doctoral Degree for advanced positions)

Need a strong mathematical background in


calculus, trigonometry, algebra, and geometry
paired with a number of sciences such as
physics, chemistry, and biology.

Other Requirements: Licensure preferred by


some employers

Obtaining a licensure may lead to enhanced job


prospects. To obtain you must have 4 years of
work experience, pass a state examination, and
hold a degree from an accredited engineering
program.
