Case cleaning
Wipe the case with a lintfree cloth slightly dampened
with water solution.
Make sure to clear all vents
to keep a steady airflow so as
to keep components cool and in
good working condition.

Keep a neat keyboard
The keyboard is the most dirty
and germ infected item of your
PC.
Turn it upside down and shake.
Use compressed air if possible.
Spray disinfectant onto a cloth
and rub each of the keys.

Maintain your mouse
Wipe the bottom and gently
clean the lens with a cotton
swab.
Use a moistened cloth with
alcohol to keep it clean and
germ free.

Make your monitor sparkle
Dirt, dust and fingerprints cause the
blurry images/texts on your screen.
Use a soft cloth with dishwashing
liquid or alcohol to clean the LCD
screen
Press gently.
Do not use a paper tower as it may
scratch the screen.

Reseat the cables and check
for damages.
Swipe your CD and DVD media
Gently wipe the disc with
moistened, soft cloth. Use motion
that starts at the center of the disc

upright position.
Always blow the dust or dirt away
from the MOBO or out of the case.
When using vacuum, stay a couple
of inches away to help prevent
anything from being sucked.
Ensure that you do not remove
the jumpers.

Turn off the power and
unplug all cables.
Ground yourself before
touching anything
inside to avoid
destroying your
circuitry with a static
charge.

circuit board
surfaces.
Pay attention to the
power supply fans
and CPU fans.

REMEMBER:
If your PC is 4 years
old, check the
expansion cards for
extreme dirt and
clean the contact
with isopropyl
alcohol and reseat it.

If your PC is less than a
couple years old, just
make sure the card is
firmly seated by pressing
it gently downward.
If your system clock loses
time, you have a dying
CMOS battery. Replace it.
