Summary
Results of NASAs tests on the EM Drive were leaked. The results
havent yet gone under peer review or been published so this must
be taken with a grain of salt. The EM Drive, which doesnt use any
fuel or propellant, generates thrust by bouncing microwave photons
back and forth inside a closed cone-shaped metal cavity. The pointy
end of the EM Drive then propels the drive in the opposite direction.
This goes against Newtons third law because there is no equal or
opposite reaction. NASAs Eagleworks Lab originally set out to try
to debunk the EM Drive but the leaked paper suggests that it not
only works, but actually generates a considerable amount of thrust.

Opinion
Im no scientist so take my opinion with a grain of salt but I think
this could be a huge breakthrough for space exploration. If they can
figure out how this thing works, we could be dealing with a new law
of physics! Or, alternatively, it could still fit within our current laws
in a way that we dont yet understand. This technology would
drastically decrease the weight of our shuttles and space craft
because they wouldnt need to carry all of the heavy fuel currently
used for rockets. They are also saying that the drive could
potentially get us to mars in just 70 days! This would completely
open up the solar system to explorers. What a time to be alive.
