Which classmate? It should be convenient
for both to study together.
Pair up. Discuss your English learning
activity plan and a time table. Both partners
should give ID & name to teacher.
Jointly prepare a plan of action for learning
together. How would you help each other?

Let

us all listen to the plans of FOUR

learning partners, i.e. 4 teams of LPs.
Raise your hands, those who wish to read
out their plans.
Pairs: each to introduce the other partner,
saying what both of you decided with the
partner.
Read out your plans to the rest of the class.

A learning partner activity

Lets

now listen to a story and then see how

learning partners can help each other
learn.
Listen carefully. Take notes if you want.
The story will be read two times slowly.
Look at each word as it is pronounced.

When my brother said the same thing, I
wanted to prove everyone wrong.

of events in your own life. Is

share?
What was the event?
What happened?
How did you feel?

Learning partners (LP) practice

Explain

your story to your learning partner.

Write the story in English using about 5
sentences. Give the story to your partner.
Your partner should explain to you what
he/she understands from reading your
story.
The other partner should do the same.
Based on comments improve your story.
