Policy Servicing Convenience, the cashless claim and
accident servicing features make it a very attractive
prospect among customers

Protection to Vehicle: Loss or Damage due to theft

accidental damage, Natural calamities etc.

Third party liability: Covers legal liability that may arise
due to an injury or death of a third party or damage to
property of a third party in case of an accident involving
your scooter & Motorbike
Personal accident cover for owner/driver: Compulsory
Personal Accident Cover for the Owner/Driver for an
amount of Rs. 1 Lac which covers accidental death and
total disability of the owner/driver

Policy Tenure: Option to buy either two years or three

years 2 wheeler Insurance Policy Online

No Claim Bonus: For long term insurance policy (two
and Three years Tenure) NCB Benefit for each year will
be provided, for two and three years Policy, NCB will
remain protected during tenure, youll be awarded
Incremental NCB slab on renewal, Subject to each claim
free Year.

would depend on:

The slabs are below 5 years, between 5 & 10 years and

above 10 years, like wise premium rates for Hero vehicles

In Zone A (Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Chennai,
Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune)
More than the vehicle plying in Zone B (Rest of
India excluding cities specified in zone A)

Premium
A number of optional Covers are also available on

payment of an additional premium. They are:

Personal Accident Cover (PA)
Nil Deprecation cover (ND)
Return to Invoice (RTI)

Discount
It is possible to get on the premium charged.
If the insured does not make any claim, discount is own

damage premium called No Claim Bonus (NCB) is

offered on subsequent renewals. This discount can go as
50%. However if the policyholder makes a claim, discount
(NCB) will be Zero for the next renewal.
Before making claims, one should think twice. Especially,
if one is already getting high discount for not making any
claim for 2 or 3 years. This is because if a claim is made,
no discount (NCB) will be available for next renewals

Transfer of Insurance

In the event of transfer of ownership, Insurance is not

automatically transferred in the name of transferee unless

application is made within 14Days there of Seeking
transfer of Insurance

Special Conditions applicable to this benefit

You can option for this cover if on the date of

commencement of policy period, your two

wheeler is not more than 3 year old from date
of invoice/date of registration, whichever is
earlier on the commencement date of policy.
You are the first registered owner of the two
wheeler
The finance company/bank whose interest is
endorsed on policy must agree in writing

Not Covered
Nsureplus Pay the financial shortfall if:
The total Loss/CTL(Constructive Total Loss) and theft

claim is not valid and admissible under section 1of the

policy
Stolen two Wheeler is recovered Within 90days of
theft unless Final Investigation Report is Submitted
Final Investigation Report in case of theft Claim is not
submitted to us
Covered Two-Wheeler is imported

Claims Settlement

The most important part, at least from

insured`s perspective is making claim

First and foremost thing one need to do in case of a claim is

to inform the insurance company about the accident within

the time limit stipulated by insurance company (Generally
24hrs) and follow it up with a completely filled in claims
form, insurance company will send a surveyor to assess the
damage and give out the details of the accident
Once you submit the claim form giving ,
insurance company will send a surveyor to
assess the damage and give an estimate of the
amount of claim. Surveyor also gives out the
details of the repairs, which can be claimed
under the policy

Claims Settlement
Once the vehicle is repaired can pay the bills

and get reimbursed from the insurance

company. Alternatively insurance company
will pay the garage directly and insured may
subsequently take the vehicle.
Before paying the claim amount, insurance
company shall send one more surveyor to
ensure that vehicle was in fact repaired to its
specification

DOS FOR THE INSURED

In the event of accident to the vehicle, please inform in writing to

the authorized Hero Dealer &/or Insurance Companys office

immediately
Please complete and sign the claim form
Document like Claim form, original driving license, original
registration certificate, copy of policy, police reports (in case of
theft/third party loss) satisfaction Voucher be submitted to the
authorized Hero Dealer.
If the vehicle is to be repaired at a workshop other than Hero
Authorized workshop, please intimate to the nearest office of
NIC/ICICI along with copy of policy for appointment of
surveyor the assess the loss.

DONTS FOR THE INSURED

In case of third party Loss/ extensive Damage to own vehicle

inform the police for obtaining proper F.I.R and do not admit
any liability or enter in any compromise without written
consent of the insurance company.
Do not proceed with the repairs or replacement job unless
approved by the insurers/authorized surveyor.
