Background
Epidemiology is an applied science that studies on the incidence of the disease or
health problems that afflict society. where science epidemiology of community health
nursing CHN used as a means of researching and observing on the job and as a basis
for intervention and evaluation of epidemiological research literature. This knowledge
gives the terms of reference for the planning and evaluation of community intervention
programs, immediately detect and treat disease, and minimize disability.

DISCUSSION

From data that obtained from the mental hospital

SambangLihum known that for years 2015-2016 the most
schizophreniapatients are male. This is appropriate with the
data that obtained from observation in mental
hospitalSambangLihum and sampling includes:
1.Individuals characteristics with factors
Individualscharacteristics with factors that influence the
schizophrenia patients hospitalized in the mental hospital
SambangLihum of 5 patients who were interviewed the factors that
influence is internal factors such as the individuals, psychosocial,
socio-cultural and genetic. The lack of education level of patients
whose average elementary school and most of the work is labor.
Patients with low education levels are pay less attention to the
quality of healthy life. Vulnerable age is between 21-30 years old
and 31-40 years old it caused by this age tend to experience
problems with family, co-workers, job burden is too heavy and
modern lifestyle individualist. Importance of encouragement from
the family is such as visits and take medication regular

2.Placecharacteristics
Place characteristics for schizophrenic patients
hospitalized in mental hospital SambangLihum
divided according to the conditions of schizophrenic
patients. In the men rooms there are 40 bedrooms,
mattresses, kitchen, bathroom, TV facilitated and
there is room for nurse. And with the location of the
room was clean and comfortable environment to
help restore the patient's condition

3. Time characteristics
From data that obtained from the mental hospital
SambangLihum time period of patient recovery time is
uncertain because according to the condition of each
individual. In some cases people with schizophrenia is a
disease that is easy to relapse and can settle in quite a
long time. Some Schizophrenia patients experience
problems have only once in a period of several weeks.
The more regularly the patient take the medication will
be quickly recover and increasingly recovering
patientsis decreaseddrug dosage.

4. Combination of individual characteristics, place and time

Individual characteristics, place, and time has a very significant
relationship in influencing to recover people with schizophrenia.
Because of all these characteristics can complement each other.
For example, an individual who have schizophrenia are due
vulnerable aged 21-30 years old and 31- 40 years old man tends
to run into problems with family, coworkers, job burden is too
heavy and modern lifestyle that individualist and support from the
family really importancefor recovering patients with schizophrenia.
The state of patient residence must be comfortable as possible
such as cleanliness andcomposure, regularly medication is highly
recommended for patients with schizophrenia to have a speedy
recovery. Because of it we cant just focus on one characteristic on
overcoming or recovering the patient. Because these
characteristics may affect the otherscharacteristics.

FINALE
CONCLUSION
The conclusions that can be drawn from this case study are:
1. Descriptive Epidemiology is a research whose it primary purposeis descriptive
exploration of the public health phenomenon in the form of risks or effects
2.Analytic Epidemiologyis that the research attempts to explore how and why health
phenomenon can occur is by analyzing the relationships between phenomenon,
whether between risk and effects factors, among the risk factors, as well as between
the effects factors.
3. Experimental Epidemiologyis a research that able to manipulate / control the factors
that may affect the results of research and expressed as the most ideal test to determine
the cause and effect relationship as well as tests that related to the etiology, control,
against disease and to answer more scientific problems.
ADVICE
Let us further identify what the causes of schizophrenia
so that we can prevent the occurrence of schizophrenia
on people we love, and also that we can find out more
details of the characteristics of people who have
schizophrenia. In order to be processed quickly.
