example of unison of the biggest religion of mankindHumanity. All the roads of religion lead to one great
Almighty. God is one- Perception of this echoes in
this abode of peace. The Bahai community aspires to
bind and unify the entire human race. The beautiful

growth of Spiritual Self. "Intellectual cohesion and
Spiritual magnification lead to devotional edification."
Bahai faith came into existence in 1963. The Bah?'?s
pray to the one true God, the Creator of the
universe. The act of praying is described as a
conversation with God. It is obligatory for every
Bah?'? to pray and meditate on the Words of God
every day.

The Wonder Architecture This architectural spectacle has been

designed by Mr. Fariborz Sahba. The outside structure of the
house of worship is constructed into three ranks of nine petals.
The structure of the House of Worship is composed of three
ranks of nine petals each springing from a podium which elevates
the building above the surrounding plain. The first two ranks curve
inward, embracing the inner dome; the third layer curves outward
to form canopies over the nine entrances. The petals, constructed
of reinforced white concrete cast in place, are clad in white marble
panels, performed to surface profiles and patterns related to the
geometry. The double-layered interior dome, modelled on the
innermost portion of the lotus, is comprised of 54 ribs with
concrete shells between. Nine arches that provide the main
support for the superstructure ring the central hall. Nine
reflecting pools surround the building on the outside, their form
suggesting the green leaves of the lotus flower.

Teachings of Bahai Faith

The Bah's believe in the oneness of mankind, oneness of
God and oneness of religion. Their lives are centered around
these three cardinal principles. Wherever they live they try
to create harmony and peace.
The Bah's work for the removal of prejudices based on
caste, creed, religion, sex, colour, race and language. The
Bah teachings state this can be achieved through universal
education and the inculcation of a scientific outlook.
An independent investigation is essential to arrive at truth.
True religion conforms to reason. The Bah's are free from
superstitions, outdated ceremonies, rituals and dogmas.
"The divine Prophets came to establish the unity of the
Kingdom in human hearts. All of them proclaimed the glad
tidings of the divine bestowals to the world of mankind."
