CASE

Angelo, an 11-month old infant was


referred to Dr. Rizal by Nurse Conchitina.
He has been having diarrhea for 5 days
and had fever since 2 days ago. The
caregiver assigned to him also noticed
that he lost his appetite even for his usual
favorite of thin lugao with a small
amount of sugar and milk which has been
his usual food. For the past weeks, he is
noticed just to be sitting quietly against
the side of his crib and would not even
smile when spoken to. Lately, he was
