Angels we have heard on high

Sweetly singing over the plains

And the mountains in reply

Echoing their joyous strains.

Ch: Gloria in excelsis Deo (2).
Shepherds, why this jubilee?

Why Your joyous strains prolong?

Say, what may the tidings be

Which inspire Your Heavenly

Come to Bethlehem, come and see

Him whose birth the Angels sing

Come adore on bended knee,

Christ the Lord the new born

Ch: Go tell it on the mountain

Over the hills and everywhere
Go tell it on the mountain

That Jesus Christ is born.

While the shepherds kept

their watching

Over wandering flock by night

Behold from out of heaven

There shone a holy light.

And lo when they had seen it

They all bowed down and prayed

They traveled on together

To where the babe was laid.

When I was a seeker
I sought both night and day

I asked the Lord to help me

And He showed me the way.

He made me a watchman

Upon the city wall

And if I am a Christian

I am the least of all.

Hark the herald Angels sing

Glory to the new born king

Peace on earth and mercy mild

God and sinners reconciled

Joyful all ye nations raise

Join the triumph of the skies

With the angelic host proclaim

Christ is born in Bethlehem.

Hark the herald Angels sing

Glory to the new born king.

Christ by highest heaven adored

Christ the everlasting lord.

Late in time behold him come

Offspring of the virgins womb

Veiled in flesh the God head

Hail the incarnate deity

Pleased as man with men to

Jesus our Immanuel.

Hark the herald Angels sing

Glory to the new born king.

Hail the heaven born prince of

Hail the son o righteousness

Light and life to all He brings

Risen with healing in His wings

Mild He lays His glory by

Born that man no more may die

Born to raise the sons of earth

Born to give them second birth

Hark the herald Angels sing

Glory to the new born king.

Come desire of nations come

Fix in us thy humble home

Rise the womans conquering

Bruise in us the serpents head

Adams likeness efface

Stamp thine image in its place

Second Adam from above

Reinstate us in Thy love

Hark the herald Angels sing

Glory to the new born king.

Joy to the world the

Lord has come

Let earth receive her king

Let every heart prepare him room

And heaven and nature sing (2)

And heaven and heaven and

nature sing.
Joy to the world, the

Saviour reigns
Let men their songs employ

While fields and floods rocks

hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy(2)

Repeat repeat the sounding

No more let sin and

sorrow grow

Nor thorns infest the ground

He comes to make His blessings flow

Far as the curse is found (2)

Far as far as the curse is found.

He rules the world with

truth and grace

And makes the nations prove

The glories of His righteousness

And wonders of His love (2)

And wonders wonders of His love

Long time ago in Bethlehem

So the holy Bible says

Marys boy child Jesus Christ

Was born on Christmas Day.

Ch: Hark now hear, the angels sing

A new king born today

And man will live for evermore

Because of Christmas day.

Trumpets sound and Angels sing

Listen to what they say

That man will live for evermore

Because of Christmas day.

While shepherds watch their
flocks by night

They see a bright new

shinning star
They hear a choir of angels sing

The music seems to come from

Now Joseph and his wife Mary
Came to Bethlehem that Night

They find no place to bear a child

Not a single room is in sight.

By and by they find a little nook

In a stable all forlorn

And in a manger cold and dark

Marys little boy was born.

O little town of Bethlehem how

still we se thee lie

Above the deep and dreamless

sleep the silent stars go by
Yet in the dark streets shineth
the everlasting light

The hopes and fears of all the

years are met in thee tonight
For Christ is born of Mary and
gathered all above
While mortals sleep the angels keep
their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together proclaim
the holy birth
And praises sing to God the king
and peace to man and earth.
How silently how silently thy
wondrous gift is given

So God imparts to human hearts

the blessings of His heaven
No ear may hear His coming but in
this world of sin

Where meek souls will receive Him

still the dear Christ enters in.
O holy child of Bethlehem
descend on us we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
be born in us today
We hear the Christmas angels the
great glad tidings tell

O come to us abide with us our

Lord Emmanuel.

O come all ye faithful

Joyful and triumphant,

O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem
Come and behold him

Born the king of Angels.

Ch: O come let us adore him(3)

Christ the Lord.

Sing choirs of Angels

Sing in exultation,
O Sing all ye citizens of heaven
Glory to God

All glory in the highest.

Yea Lord, we greet thee

Born this happy morning

Jesus to thee be all glory given

Word of the Father,

Now in flesh appearing.

Silent night, Holy night

All is calm, all is bright

Round yon virgin mother

and child
Holy infant so tender and mild

Sleep in heavenly peace (2).

Silent night, holy night

Shepherds quake at the sight

Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly host sing Alleluia

Christ the Saviour is born (2).

Silent night, holy night

Son of God loves pure light

Radiant beams from thy holy face

With the dawn of redeeming grace

Jesus Lord at thy birth (2).

Silent night holy night

All is dark save the light

Yonder where thy sweet vigils
Over the babe who in silence sleeps

Rests in heavenly peace (2).

The first Noel, the angel did say

Was to certain poor shepherds,

in field as they lay

In fields were they lay, keeping

their sheep

On a cold winters night that

was so deep.
Ch: Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,

Born is the King of Israel.

They looked up and saw a star

Shining in the east, beyond

them far
And to the earth it gave a

great light

And so it continued both

day and night.

And by the light of that

same star
Three wise men came from
countries far
To seek for a king was

their intent

And to follow the star

wherever it went
This star drew nigh to the

Over Bethlehem it took its rest

And there it did, both stop

and stay

Right over the place were

We three Kings of Orient are

Bearing gifts we traverse afar

Field and foundation, moor and

Following yonder star.

Ch: O star of wonder, star of night

Star with royal beauty bright

Westward leading, still proceeding

Guide us to thy perfect light.

Born a king on Bethlehems plain

Gold I bring to crown Him again

King forever, ceasing never

Over us all to reign.

Frankincense to offer have I
Incense, owns a deity nigh
Prayer and praising all

men raising

Worship Him, God on high.

Myrrh I bring its bitter

Breaths a life of gathering

Sorrowing sighing bleeding

Sealed in a stone cold tomb.

Dashing thro the snow

In a one horse open sleigh

Over the fields we go

Laughing all the way

Bells on bobtails ring

Making spirits high

What fun it is to ride and sing

A sleighing song tonight.

Ch: Hey Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells

Jingle all the way

Oh what fun its to ride

In a one horse open sleigh !! (2)

A day or two ago

I thought Id take a ride

And soon Miss Fanny Bright

Was seated by my side;

The horse was lean and lank

Misfortune seemed his lot,

We got into a drifted bank

And we we got upsot.

We wanna wish You a Merry

What child is this who laid

to rest
On Marys lap is sleeping
Whom angels greet with anthems
While shepherds watch are
Ch: This, this is Christ the King,

Whom shepherds guard and

angels sing
This, this is Christ the King

The Babe, the son of Mary.

Why lies He in such mean estate

Where Ox and ass are feeding

Good Christians fear, for sinners

The silent word is pleading.

So bring Him incense, gold

and Myrrh
Come peasant, king to own
The King of Kings salvation

Let loving hearts enthrone

O Holy night, the stars are brightly
It is the night of the dear Saviors
Long lay the world in sin

and error pining,

Till he appeared and the soul

felt its worth

A thrill of hope the weary

world rejoices,

For yonder breaks a new and

glorious morn.
Ch: Fall on your knees, O hear
the angel voices
O night divine, O night when
Christ was born
O night, O holy night, O night
Led by the light of faith
serenely beaming

With glowing hearts by His

cradle we stand
So led by light of a star so
sweetly gleaming

Here came the wise men from

out the orient land
The king of Kings lay thus in
lowly manger

In all our trails born to be

our friend.
He knows our need, our weakness
is no stranger
Behold your King, before Him
lowly bend,
Truly He taught us to love one

His law is love and His gospel

is peace
Chains shall He break for the
slave is our brother
And in his name all oppression
shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful
chorus raise we

Let all within us praise His

holy name.
Christ is the Lord, then ever
ever praise we
His power and glory ever more
proclaim (2)
For Christ is born of Mary, and

gathered all above,

While mortals sleep, the angels keep

their watch of Wondering love

O morning stars, together, proclaim

the holy birth

And praises sing to God the king,

and peace to man on earth.

How silently, how silently, thy

wondrous gift is given

So God imparts to human hearts,

the blessing of His heaven

No ear may hear His coming, but

in this world of sin,

Where meek souls will receive

Him still, the dear Christ enters in.

O Holy Child of Bethlehem,
descend on us we pray,

Cast out our sin and enter in, be

born in us today.
We hear the Christmas angels, the
great glad tidings tell.

O come to us, abide with us, Our

Lord Emmanuel.
Away in a manger no crib for

a bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down
His sweet head,
The stars in the bright sky, looked
down where He lay,

The little Lord Jesus, asleep on the

The cattle are lowing, the baby
But little Lord Jesus, no crying

He makes
I love Thee Lord Jesus, look down
from the sky
And stay by my cradle till
morning is nigh.
Be near me Lord Jesus, I ask Thee
to stay,

Close be me forever and Love me I

Bless all the dear children in Thy
tender care

And take me to heaven to live with

thee there.

Ding dong merrily on high, in

heaven the bells are ringing
Ding dong verily the sky, is riven
with angels singing
hosanna in excelsis (2)
Even so here below, below, let steeple
bells be rung in

And E O E O E O E O E O by priest
and people sung in
hosanna in excelsis (2)
Come, they told me Parapapapum

A new born king to see

Our finest gifts to bring

To lay before the king
Parapapapum, Rapapapum (2)

So to honour Him
Parapapapum, When we come.
2) Baby Jesus Parapapapum

I am a poor boy too Parapapapum

I have no gifts to bring Parapapapum

Thats fit to give a king Parapapapum Rapapapum

Shall I play for you Parapapapum, On my drum.

Mary nodded Parapapapum

The Ox and ass kept time

I played my drum for him

I played my best for him,

Parapapapum Rapapapapum (2)

Then He smiled at me Parapapapum

Me and my drum.
Wake O earth, wake everything

Wake and hear the joy we bring,

Sing creation sing tonight

Heaven and every twinkling light

Gone the darkness all around us,

From the earth is risen a sun

Shines all night though day be

Hail O son O blessed light,

Sent into the world this night,

Let thy love and heavenly powers

Shine into the hearts of ours,

For we know that thou art truly

God and man we do confess,

Hail O son of righteousness.

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer

Had a very shiny nose and if you

ever saw him

You would even say it glows

All of the other reindeers

Used to laugh and call him names

They never let poor Rudolph

Join in any reindeer games

Then one foggy Christmas eve Santa

came to say

Rudolph with your nose so bright

Wont you guide my sleigh tonite

Then all the reindeers loved him

And they shouted out with glee

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer

Youll go down in history.

We wish you a merry Christmas (3)

And a happy new year.

Good tidings we bring to you and
your kin

Good tidings we bring you and a

happy new year.

Ch: Great day in Bethlehem (3)

In a stable at the back of the inn.

The greatest story ever told

Was told on Christmas day

Of two who came to Bethlehem

They came a long long way

Weary tired dusty worn

They knocked at every inn

There was a baby to be born a new

life to begin

And its a great day.

Now after looking high and low

Around the crowded town

The only place where they

could rest
Where they could both lie down

Was in a barn with animals

With goats and cows and sheep

Thats where the two could

make their bed

Thats where the two could sleep

And its a great day.

3) So late that night their son was born

A son who was to be

The way for men to find the truth

A light for them to see

Angels cried Oh glory be Hosanna let us sing

True peace on earth goodwill to men

Today is born a king

And its a great day.

1. At the cross Her station keeping

Stood the holy Mother weeping

Closed to Jesus to the last.

Through her heart his sorrow
All His bitter anguish bearing

Now at length the sword

had passed.
Oh how sad and sore distressed

Was that Mother highly blessed

Of the sole begotten one.

Christ above in torment hangs

She beneath behold the pangs

Of her dying glorious son.

Is there one who would not weep

Whelmed in miseries so deep

Christs dear mother to behold.

Can the human heart refrain

From partaking in her pain

In that mothers pain untold.

Bruised, derided, cursed, defiled

She behold her tender child

All with bloddy scourges rent.

For the sins of his own nation

Saw him hand in desolation

Till his spirit in forth he sent.

O thou mother, font of love

Touch my spirit from above

Make my heart with thine accord

Make my feel as thou has felt

Make my soul to glow and melt

With the love of Christ my Lord.
Holy Mother pierce me through,

In my heart each wound renew

Of my Saviour crucified.
Let me share with thee his pain

Who for all my sins was slain

Who for me in torment died.

Let me mingle tears with thee,

Moaning him who mourned

for me

All the day that I may live.

By the cross with the to stay

There with thee to week and pray,

Is all I ask of thee to give

Virgin of all Virgins best,

Listen to my fond request

Let me share they grief divine.

God of mercy and compassion

Look with pity upon me

Father let me call the Father

This thy child returns to thee.

Jesus Lord I ask for mercy

Let me not implore in vain

All my sins I mow detest them

Never will I sin again.

By my sins I have deserved

Death and endless misery

Hell with all its pain and torments

And for all eternity.

On a hill far away stood an old

rugged cross the emblem

of suffering and shame and I

love that old cross where the dearest

and best for a world of lost sinners

was slain.
Ch: So, Ill cherish the old rugged

cross till my trophies at last I lay

I will cling to the old rugged

cross and exchange it some day

for a crown.
Oh, that old rugged cross, so

despired by the world, has a

wondrous attraction for me.

For the dear lamb of God left his

glory above, to bear it to dark

In the old rugged cross, stained

with blood so divine, a wondrous

beauty I see,
for Tivas on that old cross Jesus

suffered and died to pardon and

sanctify me.
4. To the old rugged cross I will ever be
true, its shame and reproach gladly bear,
then Hell call me some day to my home far
away, where his glory forever Ill share
I believe in God the Father Almighty

Creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Chris, His only son,

Our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of

the Holy

Spirit and was born of the Virgin

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was

Crucified, died and was buried

On the third day He rose again.

He ascended into heaven,

And is seated at the right hand

of the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy

Catholic Church,
The communion of saints; the

forgiveness of sins,

The resurrection of the body; and

life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven;

Hallowed be thy Name;

Thy kingdom comes;

Thy will be done on earth as it is in

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgive us our trespasses

And we forgive those who trespasses

against us,
And lead us not into temptation;

But deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is
with thee;

Blessed art thou among women.

And blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for
us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.

Glory be to the Father, and to the

Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning, is now,

And ever shall be, world without

end. Amen.
