Kidnap for Ransom of Jee Ick Joo

o The PNP strongly assures the public that there will be no whitewash or cover-up in the ongoing probe into
the killing of Jee Ick Joo;

o The PNP affirms its uncompromising stand in ensuring that rogue policemen and scalawags in uniform
who are involved in the incident will face the full extent of the law;

o With the ongoing investigation, all indications point to a deliberate and syndicated criminal activity by
some police personnel supported by a cabal of other personalities outside the PNP, operating under the
cover of legitimate police operations, with the aim to destabilize the government and the PNP due to its
successful illegal drugs campaign;

o The PNP reiterates that it will not and will never tolerate corrupt, abusive, and errant policemen in its ranks
and will weed them out of the organization;

o The PNP will not let unlawful acts of some of its personnel who are trying to discredit its intensified
campaign against illegal drugs; and

o The PNP hopes that the publics continuous trust and support in the governments campaign against
illegal drugs and organized crime will not wane but bolster more in its efforts to weed out corruption and
illegal drugs.

The PNP respects the right to freedom of expression of every Filipino citizen in voicing out
their grievances/sentiments vis--vis the anti-illegal drugs campaign of the government;
The PNP will deploy its crowd dispersal management (CDM) personnel to make sure that the
safety of the public will not be compromised including those who will be joining the protest;
Maximum tolerance will be implemented by the PNP in accordance with its police operational
procedures (POP);
The PNP appeals for a peaceful assembly and advises protesters to be extra-vigilant from
unscrupulous individuals who might sabotage the gathering;
The PNP strongly assures the public that there will be no whitewash or cover-up in the
ongoing probe into the killing of Jee Ick Joo and affirms its uncompromising stand in
ensuring that police scalawags involved in the incident will face the full extent of the law;
The PNP reiterates that it will not and will never tolerate corrupt, abusive and errant

against illegal drugs in the country for the best interest of every Filipino.
