NORTHERN MINDANAO

Geologically a combination of plains, mountains, rolling hills, and coastal areas


with rich soil, abundant minerals, agriculture, forest, and aquaculture resources;

Strategic location: gateway to and from the rest of Mindanao;

Located outside the typhoon belt and enjoys a climate that is favorable to
agriculture and industrial activities. However, due to climate change; we are not
spared from typhoons.

Blessed with abundant power supply hydro-electric, coal-fired and diesel-fired


power plants constitute the bulk of power sources available in the Mindanao grid;

Accessible through modern seaports, airports with arterial road networks;

With various communication facilities, with amenities on information technology


which have increased the people's proximity to global information;
