STUDENT CODE OF
DISCIPLINE
Points to Remember
A student who is accepted to study in
Saint Louis College recognizes the
existence of a contract whereby he/she
agrees to comply with the policies, rules
and regulations of the College and
assumes all responsibilities appertaining
to his status as a student.
Points to Remember
Saint Louis College adheres to the
principle of the Special Parents

responsibility to apprehend and/or refer any
violation of the Code of Discipline to the
Student Affairs Office and/or to duly authorized
officer of the law for appropriate action
Expectations from Students
Every student must value and
exercise self-discipline to earn
due respect for his own person.

Conduct within the School
Every student is enjoined to obey the
rules and regulations of the College.

Ladies: Gala uniform (the skirt must be at
least knee level, or below the knee but not

shirt with collar with embroidered SLC

Wednesdays: Departmental T-shirt

(Blue for CASTE-IT-CRIM, Maroon for

approval of the College President
2. Littering anywhere within the
campus disposable materials
such as but not limited to pieces
of paper, cans, bottles and other
disposable materials in the
classroom, library, playground
and other places in the campus

3. Smoking anywhere within
the school campus

4. Loitering along the corridors that
disturb ongoing classes
NB: Students may proceed to and

standby silently at the corridors only
when it is five (5) minutes before the
next class period.

5. Eating or chewing inside
the classrooms, laboratory
rooms, computer rooms,
Internet and libraries

6. Engaging in any form of gambling
within the school campus
7. Staying in a classroom without a
valid cause/reason, and using
electricity for personal consumption
8. Sitting on the parapets of the
buildings

9.Entering the campus after 8:00 in
the evening without any official
business or authorization by the
College President
10. Unauthorized use of electricity

11. Wearing earring, sporting long
hair (the hair does not touch the
eyebrow, the pair of ears and collar
of the shirt) for men; and colored
hair (use of bright, bold and awkward
looking hair dye; highlights) for both
men and women
Sanctions:
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Reprimand
3rd Offense: Suspension for at least 1 day
4th Offense: Suspension for at least two (2) days
plus execution of an affidavit duly notarized by
the school lawyer
5th Offense: Suspension for at least two (2) days plus
non-readmission to the College the following term

12. Using Cellular Phones, but not
limited to sending or receiving an
SMS or making/receiving a call, in
the Classroom

phones for five (5) days and a fine of Php 50.00
4th: Suspension for at least two (2) days plus execution of an
affidavit duly notarized by the school lawyer and confiscation
of cellular phones for five (5) days and a fine of Php50.00
5th: Suspension for at least two (2) days plus non-
readmission to the College the following term
Other Major Offenses:

1. Using without proper
authority the name of Saint
Louis College in any ticket,
invitation, program
announcement, shirt or
similar printed material
2. Unlawfully possessing or using
explosive of any kind, chemical
or biological substance which
can cause harm or injury or any
deadly weapons such as but not
limited to gun, knife, bladed
instruments, and the like

3. Physically assaulting any
person within the campus

4. Participating in any melee such
as but not limited to brawl,
fighting, stabbing, slapping,
punching, quarrelling, hazing or
any act that injures, degrades or
disgraces a student or personnel
of the College

5. Entering the campus under
the influence of liquor
6. Bringing in or imbibing or
dispensing liquor or any
intoxicating beverage

7. Threatening, coercing,
intimidating or compelling a
student to be absent from
his/her classes, or
preventing personnel from
discharging their duties

8. Threatening, coercing,
intimidating a fellow student,
school personnel
9. Forging, altering or
falsifying official documents,
records or credentials
10. Showing, exhibiting, display and/or
exposing nude or half naked in any of
the following forms/modes: (a) print
media articles, tabloids, magazines,
newspapers, etc; (b) broadcast-radio,
internet, cable, satellite, TV, etc; (c)
others-film, movies, videos, tape
CDs, VCDs, DVD, etc

11. Engaging in lewd, indecent,
obscene, immoral or provocative
conduct such as but not limited to
kissing, necking, and petting and
similar lasciviousness act while in
the campus

12. Abusive or discourteous behavior
towards school authorities and
personnel, elected CSSC Officers,
and co-students
13.Lying to a person in
authority
13. Defaming any student or any school
personnel or their authorized agents; giving
oral, or sending, disseminating or posting any
written or electronically transmitted message
or graphics, or demonstrating offensive
gesture, which causes a person or his
reputation or good name to be threatened,
harassed, maligned, besmirched, disgraced,
degraded, insulted, ridiculed or defamed

1st:Suspension for at least one (1) day
to non-readmission
2nd: Suspension for at least two (2)
days plus affidavit duly notarized by
the school lawyer to non-readmission
3rd: Exclusion to Expulsion
