Coalition for sustainable

Coalition For
Sustainable Packaging-
CSP is the coalition of private sectors,
mostly from multinational FMCG
Company which have strong commitment
to find solution on post consumer
packaging waste.

Unilever, Coca Cola, Nestle,

Aqua Danone, Tetrapack and
Indofood initiate the establishment
of CSP, at present focus on driving
advocacy and communication
strategy on sustainable packaging
and post consumer packaging
waste management.

Upaya Industri dalam Pengelolaan
Sampah
Proses Paska
Produksi konsumsi

- Upaya advokasi
- Mengurangi gramasi
- R&D untuk bahan - Edukasi masyarakat
baku yang lebih - Community Waste Bank
ramah lingkungan - Pemberdayaan Pemulung
- Inovasi desain dan - Bantuan teknologi untuk
material produk pendaur ulang
- R&D teknologi daur ulang
Rekomendasi CSP dalam
Pengelolaan sampah

- Perlunya StragNas sebagai acuan kebijakan pengelolaan

sampah nasional
- Benchmark tentang pengelolaan sampah dari Negara di
ASEAN
- Perlu pengakuan terhadap sector informal yang selama ini
aktif dalam industry daur ulang
- Peranan industri tidak hanya dilihat dari sisi post consumer
waste, tetapi juga dari program lain yang telah dijalankan
- Perlu dipertimbangkan tentang kemasan barang impor,
siapa yang bertanggung jawab terhadap plastik/styrofoam
tersebut dan bagaimana mekanismenya.
- Selain plastik, sebaiknya kemasan lain (kaleng, karton, dll)
juga dimasukkan ke dalam roadmap pengelolaan sampah
industri.
Rekomendasi CSP dalam
Pengelolaan sampah
Penggunaan kemasan biodegradable mempunyai banyak
kendala atau kelemahan, antara lain membutuhkan biaya
yang tinggi, cepat rusak, dan tidak dapat digunakan untuk
makanan. Selain itu, dalam penggunaannya jangan sampai
menimbulkan persepsi yang salah di masyarakat, bahwa
kemasan biodegradable dapat dibuang sembarangan ke
lingkungan.
Perlu dibuat strategi nasional sebelum menyusun roadmap.
Hal ini sesuai Pasal 7 UU 18/2008.
StragNas sebaiknya komprehensif dimana pengolahan
sampah organik yang (jumlah) persentasenya jauh lebih
besar juga diberikan bobot & perhatian yang sama dengan
sampah non organik.
Perlu forum untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman
antar industri tentang pengurangan sampah yang telah
dilakukan oleh industri.
Peranan Industri

1. Melakukan program edukasi kepada

masyarakat
2. Pencantuman keterangan "Bisa didaur
ulang" di kemasan, untuk mendorong
masyarakat melakukan daur ulang
3. Menjajaki teknologi yang memungkinkan
upaya daur ulang
4. Mendorong upaya intervensi teknologi
untuk pengelolaan sampah
5. Melakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan nilai
ekonomis sampah kemasan. co/
