0 Executive Summary
Purpose:
to ascertain the satisfaction of UniMAPs
student during the ice breaking/ orientation
week.
to pinpoint the problem and propose solution
to improve the orientation week.

Research method:
Sampling
Questionnaire

Targeted respondent:
50 UniMAPs students are randomly choose.

Major problem found:


Meals provided during orientation week.
Best Solution:
Provide more healthy food.
End the daily event before 11pm.

Benefit:
Student can back and sleep early and also
have time to carry out daily routine.

Management:
School authority should adjust and arrange
the schedule.
School authority should provide more healthy
food and change food operator.

Cost:
Event planner.
Daily meal covered whole orientation week.
3.0 Methodology
3.1 Sampling

Definition: Sampling is a process used in


statistical analysis in which a predetermined
number of observations will be taken from a
larger population. (Investopedia web)

Advantage:
Easy to assemble sample.
A fair way of selecting a sample from a given
population since every member was given equal
opportunities of being selected.
Disadvantage:
Experts are required for careful study of the
universe.
Careful selection sampling is difficult.
If the informations is required for each and
every unit in the study, then it is difficult to
interview each and every person in sampling
method.

Targeted respondents:
All UniMAPs student .
50 respondents randomly chosen from student
who had gone through orientation week.
The respondents chosen covered with different
gender, different years of student and from
different courses.

3.2 Survey:
Questionnaire
Definition: Questionnaireis a
researchinstrument consisting of a series
ofquestionsand other prompts for the purpose
of gatheringinformation from respondents.

Advantages:
Information can be collected easily from large
portion of people and the information is
standardized.
Results obtained can be analyzed quickly by
the researcher.
Format of questionnaire:
13 questions
4 sections: A, B, C and D

Section A: 5 dichotomous questions which


offering two choices yes or no.

Section B: 6 questions designed by using likert


scale which states with the statement for
respondent to show the amount of agreement
or disagreement .

Section C: 2 multiple choices questions which


is provided with three choices to be chosen.

Section D is the demographic profile of


respondent which is asking about the gender,
