SESSION 5
HIP Monitoring Movement

Schools are to track their own movement for HIP implementation using a
checklist. (refer checklist)

Monitoring of HIP in schools will also be conducted both by ELTC and DELOs at
PPDs.

DELOs will be provided with a monitoring tool prepared by ELTC and this will be
used to capture HIP progress in schools.

A briefing will be given by DELOs on how to use the monitoring tool.

ELTC will provide dates for monitoring to PPDs.

The first monitoring should be done in the month of March to see how schools
have started on HIP

The second monitoring will be done in Sept to see how schools are progressing
with HIP.
Reporting documents

The monitoring of HIP involves completing the


Online Reporting Template that is provided.
(Discuss the Online Reporting Template at length and in
detail).

Reporting also includes capturing videos of events that reflect


best practices in achieving HIP outcomes.

The strategic plan document is one of the reporting


documents that will be collected during the monitoring visits.
