4RF reliability: superior performance comes as standard

The Aprisa XE reliability cannot be beaten. In 2008:

0.76% failure rate, compared to 4-5 % industry norm
With zero out-of-the-box failures
With an installed base approaching 10,000 links:
MTBF, based on returns to factory, is 95.72 years
Lifetime failure rate averages 1.2%
This performance is more remarkable considering the
harsh deployment conditions the Aprisa XE faces, from
radios bolted to mud brick walls, with daily sand storms
and no air conditioning, through to temperatures below
freezing.
4RF achieves this reliability because of its design
excellence, testing and quality assurance, and
commitment to continual improvement.

box, with lightweight grid / Yagi antennas
and easy alignment. It is installed rapidly
and can be redeployed as needed.
Its Java-based element management
system supports easy drag and drop
cross-connect configuration of links and in-
built SNMP means it can be integrated
with other network management systems
as required.
