DUCTS ARE NOT CLASHING WITH WALLS(PARALLEL) OTHER THAN WHERE THERE ARE
PERPENDICULAR PENETRATIONS.

DUCTS SHALL BE UNDER SLAB AND WITH 100mm CLEARANCE IN ORDER TO PROVIDE SPACE
FOR INSTALLATION.

EQUIPMENTS ARE IN PLACE & IT'S SIZE IS AS PER GA DRAWING.

MAINTENANCE OF THE EQUIPMENTS ARE CONSIDERED IN COORDINATION

PLINTHS ARE IN PLACE AS PER APPROVED EQUIPMENTS


ANY SERVICES SHOULD NOT RUN BELOW THE CEILING MOUNTED MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. AHU, FAN etc..

SPACE FOR CEILING MOUNTED EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION & SERVICE


COORDINATED LAYOUT
FLEX DUCT CONNECTOR (300MM OR AS APPROVED) SHALL BE PROVIDED AFTER AND
BEFORE FAN, FCU, VAV.

IN ORDER TO INSTALL VIBRATION ISOLATORS MIN 300mm GAP IS LEFT BETWEEN TOP OF
THE CEILING MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND CEILING/BEAM WHICHEVER IS CLOSER TO
EQUIPMENT.

DUCTS ARE MODELLED TO HAVE MIN 50mm CLEARANCE TO ANY OTHER SERVICES AT
ALL FD SHALL HAVE PERMANENT ACCESS DOOR IN DUCT AS WELL AS IN FALSE CEILING.

FIRE DAMPER ACCESS PANEL SIZE SHALL BE MINIMUM 450 x 300.

TEMPORARY ACCESS DOOR IN THE FALSE CEILING(PoP) FOR VOLUME CONTROL DAMPERS
(DURING COMMISSIOING).

ACCESS DOOR FOR CEILING MOUNTED UNITS SHALL BE 600 x 1500

AUXILIARY DRAIN PAN IS MODELLED BELOW CEILING TYPE FCU/BCU/CRAC IN IT & ELECTRICAL
ROOMS
ANY SERVICES WHICH IS PASSING THE DOOR SHALL BE 300MM ABOVE THE DOORS AND
400MM AWAY FROM SIDE OF THE DOORS TO AVOID CLASH WITH LINTEL.

PRIOR TO RELEASE SHOP DRAWING CEILING ACCESS PANELS LOCATION TO BE COORDINATED


WITH ARCHITECTS.

FLEXIBLE CONNECTOR USED AT BUILDING EXPANSION JOINTS

REFERENCE DIMENSION W.R.T NEAREST GRID OR COLOUMN IS GIVEN FOR THE DUCTS
DOOR GRILL OR DOOR UNDERCUT AVAILABILITY IN TOILET .

RETURN AIR TERMINAL OR OPENING IN ROOMS.

SUPPLY & RETURN AIR TERMINAL LOCATION TO AVOID SHORT CIRCUIT OF AIR

EQUIPMENTS, AIR TERMINAL SCHEDULE

MD,MFD, MSFD AND SENSOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND BMS/FIRE SYSTEM INTEGRATION.

UPE DUCT OPENING AND LOCATION COORDINATION WITH CIVIL MODEL (12 Nos. WITH AREA
0.40m2 EACH)

OTE DUCT TO HAVE 24 NOS. OPENINGS AT 0.80m2 EACH (TYPICAL DIMENSION OF 895 mm x
DUCT LINER INSULATION (25 mm THICKNESS FIBER BOARD, DENSITY 48 kg/m OR APPROVED
MATERIAL/THICKNESS) MAX UP TO 3 M FROM THE AHU/FAHU

THE DUCTWORK SHALL BE SIZED TO ALLOW FOR THE THICKNESS OF THE DUCT LINING

ROOF AND PLANT ROOM DUCT TO BE CLADDED WITH APPROVED MATERIAL (LENZING
JACKETING) BIM / SITE

ENSURE THE ROOF DUCT ENTERING INTO SHAFT SLOPED UPWARDS IN ORDER TO PREVENT
THE RAIN WATER STAGNATION

FIRE RATED DUCT SUPPORT DISTANCE SHOULD NOT EXCEED MORE THAN 1500mm

FIRE DAMPER TAG TO BE SHOWN BASED ON FIRE RATING OF WALL

1 HOUR & 2 HOURS FIRE RATING FD1

DUCT PRESSURE CLASSIFICATION TO BE SHOWN.

EQUIPMENT TAGS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED AS PER WP DESIGN ANY MISSING TAGS SHALL BE

SHUT OFF VALVES LOCATED CLOSE TO MAIN LINE AT EVERY BRANCH.

COMMISSIONING VALVES ARE LOCATED AT EACH MAIN BRANCH AND CONNECTION TO EACH
PLANT ROOM.

DRAIN VALVE LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF RISER WITH SHUT OFF VALVE ALONG WITH DRAIN
PIPE CONNECTED TO NEAREST DRAIN POINT.

DRAIN VALVE LOCATED AT THE SHAFT OUTLET.

LEAVE 2D STRAIGHT PIPE BEFORE BALACING VALVE/ORIFICE PLATE AND 5D STRAIGHT PIPE
AFTER

ALL PIPE INSULATION IS ADDED AS PER APPROVED MATERIAL SUBMITTAL

SHAFT PIPE INLET AND OUTLETS ARE MATCHING WITH SHAFT PIPE POSITION, PIPE POSITION
INSIDE THE SHAFT IN ABOVE AND BELOW LEVEL.

PIPES ARE NOT PENETRATING THE WALL WHILE PARALLEL TO WALL. THEY JUST CROSS THE
WALL BY PENETRATING IT PERPENDICULAR

CHECK THE EQUIPMENT PEDESTAL HEIGHT IS SUFFICIENT TO MAKE SLOPE IN CONDENSATE


DRAIN PIPE

PIPE EXPANSION JOINTS ARE LOCATED AT EVERY BUILDING EXPANSION JOINT

IF SPACE CONSTRAINTS ALLOW, CHW PIPE IS MODELLED WITH %0.1 SLOPE

AUTOMATIC AIR VENTS ARE PROVIDED AT HIGHEST POINTS OF PIPE LINE WHERE REQ IN MECH
EQUIPMENT ROOMS AND UTILITY ROOMS, MANUAL AIR VENTS ARE PROVIDED AT HIGHEST
POINTS OF PIPE LINE WHERE REQ IN OTHER PLACES

AIR VENT SHOULD BE CONNECTED WITH NEAREST DRAIN POINT/PIPE

DRAIN PIPES ARE INDIRECTLY (WITH FUNNEL FLOOR DRAIN) CONNECTED TO DRAINAGE
SYSTEM FOR AHU/FAHU

1.5M STRAIGHT PIPE(MAY BE VERTICAL+HORIZONTAL, ONLY HORIZONTAL, ONLY VERTICAL)


LEFT BEFORE CONNECTING TO FCU/BCU/CRAC FOR VALVE SET CONNECTION IN THE SAME
ROOM WITH EQUIPMENT.

CONDENSATE PIPING DROP LOCATION TO BE VERIFIED WITH DRAINGE MODELS IN WHICH THE
LOCATION OF THE FLOOR DRAIN IS VERIFIED.

LEVEL OF ALL CHW SUPPLY/RETURN & REFRIGERANT PIPE WITH FLOW RATE SHOULD BE
PROVIDED.

REFERENCE DIMENSION W.R.T NEAREST GRID OR COLOUMN IS GIVEN FOR THE PIPES

AIR HANDLING UNIT ( AHU, FCU,FAHU,CRAC) UNIT COIL CONNECTION AS PER STANDARD
DRAWING.

SUPPORT FOR HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL PIPES AS PER STANDARD DETAIL DRAWING

REDUCER IN ALL VERTICAL PIPE WORK SHALL BE CONCENTRIC & FOR OTHER POSITION
ECENTRIC.

CHW PIPE UPTO 50 MM WILL HAVE SCREW CONNECTION AND 65MM AND ABOVE WILL HAVE
FLANGE/GROOVED CONNECTION.
