Workplace Pathway
Workplace and Apprenticeship Math will be offered in the second semester.
This math class should be taken by students who know that their career and
post-secondary path requires this math.
Students taking this math, can also take any other math course offered in
semester one.
A second semester offering allows students that struggle in math with a second
chance to earn a math if they are not successful in semester one math.

3 Year Plan
For those students who are interested in taking all three 30 level natural
sciences in order to keep all of their post-secondary options open, a
pathway similar to the following is recommended. This suggestion allows
students to take all of the 30 level sciences without having to take more
than one science in any given semester.

The key is to take science 10 in the first semester of grade 10. This
allows you to start taking the 20 levels science classes in the second
semester of grade 10 to avoid two science classes in one semester in
grade 11 or 12.

What happens if
I failed a class
this year?
Options:
Summer School in class through Regina Public School Division ($180-$305)

Summer School online Regina Catholic ($400) or Saskatoon Catholic ($500)

Retake the course at LeBoldus in the 2017-2018 academic year

Why is it so important to pick your classes carefully?

The classes students choose now, will

determine how many sections (classes) we
make for each course.

The classes that choosen now,

will also determine which
careers an indivual can go into
when he/she is done high
school.
Planning For The Future

Students who are undecided about their

education, career or life direction should:
Get to know themselves by assessing their
knowledge, and skills.

Think about their interests, personality and

values.

Do an interest inventory (Strong Interest Inventory)

or utilize www.myBlueprint.ca
Planning For The Future
Try more electives or get more involved in
school clubs and projects.

Visit Student Services & listen to announcements

about Career Fairs, Post-Secondary Workshops or
Spend-A-Day Programs.

Re-Evaluate their Direction by keeping options

open and re-assessing them each year.
