In particular, the thing that needs to change is the attitudes and practices
of law enforcement because they are the main stakeholders when it comes
down to the racial profiling problem being solved. A lot of law enforcement
think that racial profiling is adequate practice, because they often catch
people with contraband or doing illegal things when they pull off these kind
of operations.Yet, in these states as in others, the rate of stops and
searches of African-American drivers, which ranged up to 60-70% of the
stops, was vastly disproportionate to both the rate of drug possession and
the number of minority drivers. This shows that most of the people that
have been stopped in instances of racial profiling were actually doing nothing
wrong. These traffic stops rarely go documented, however. You dont hear
statistics concerning the number of traffic stops regardless of crime. One
other thing that would help out with the racial profiling issue is curving
racial stereotypes and beliefs of them.

It appears that acts of racial discrimination can be stopped through

managerial authority, and prejudice itself seems to be reduced
through both education and exposure to minorities.

We must teach future generations how racial discrimination is wrong

so it may reduce for in our future.
