BABY DUMPING AMONG TEENAGERS
 INTRODUCTION
Our country, Malaysia has become the most favorite spot for

dumping babies.

Baby dumping is a social crisis and has a chronic increase as

many cases are occurring in Malaysia country.

Baby dumping means that the acts of throw away the babies

at any places without take care the baby.

Teenage
pregnancy

The most common factors that leads baby

dumping in our country.
Teenage pregnancy is defined as a teenage
or
underage girl becoming pregnant.
This pregnancy of teenagers are a mere result
of the gratification of sexual urges.
That pregnancy might not happen only if
studies were prioritized rather than having
relationships with the opposite sex.
 LACK OF SEX EDUCATION

. Parents failed to inject the knowledge of sex into the mind of their
children since they were still small.
They feel shy or uncomfortable to explain about the sex when their
children ask them.
Parents always assume that their children will know everything
naturally when they become adult.
Baby dumping can happen if people or society lack awareness on
sex education.
Society thinks that sex education is not important.
Society thinks that by giving education on sex will be more
dangerous on students.
 No parental control
Second cause of this problem is there is no
parental control their life.
Parents did not control all their children
activities.
Some teenagers live far away from their parents
to continue their study and thus nobody control
their activities.
Parents are too busy with their jobs.
Parents do not have enough time to look after
their children.

PEER PRESSURE
Youths who end up mingling and
spending time with peer who are
spoilt in the sense that they
associate themselves with negative
behaviours like free association
might follow their traits and
succumb into doing the same thing.

This worsens when the girl gets

pregnant and in most cases she will
discard the newborn.
LACK OF RELIGION UNDERSTANDS

Lack of religious upbringing causes

these young adults to lose direction
in life and result into negative
behavior like free association.
This issue creeps in when the girl in
the relationship gets pregnant.
EFFECTS OF BABY DUMPING
 Effects on
individual

An abortion couses bad effect.

It has a high risk of death caused by

internal bleeding. The mothers may have the
risk of death due to the bleeding during the
childs birth.

They also will be expelled from schools

or educational institutions.

They also will be charged for attempting

murder if the baby were still alive and charge
for murder penalty if the baby is dead.

It couse mental pressure especially to

family.

Baby dumping can effect to family

would be ashamed on their children act.

Parents will feel guilty whole life

because could not care for their
children.

People will imitates the behaviour and

number of cases will rise in future.

This case has affected the image of the

surrounding our society.They would have
embarressed and disappointed by what
happened.

It will bring bad images to our society.

PREVENTION OF BABY DUMPING
 BY PARENTS
Parents play a high role to educate children to become
good in behavior by teaching to stay out of sexual
relationships.

Parents should keep an eye in every single activity that

been involved by children.

Parents must know what their children do and with who

their children befriends.In this matter, parents must
be firm with their children relating activities that
no good.
 BY GOVERMENT
INTRODUCE SEX EDUCATION

Students aware of body structure of

men and women.

Teach students to establish of their

own gender by acquiring the
knowledge of sex.

Goverment also can including

values of religion and moral education in

schools.
 There are several places that give special services to
married or unmarried teens who are pregnant, as well as
rape victims.
They will give special education to let them know on how
to handle the situation in the future and to care for their
babies.
The existing place for these teens are Sekolah Harapan,
Baitul Ehsan, Baitul Islah.
Baby hatch is indeed good way to help single mother
who cannot afford to take care the baby and nowadays
'sekolah harapan' and Kewaja has already been opened
for person who involved unwanted pregnancy.
A campaign to stop baby dumping also is one of the
solutions to raise awareness of tis issue to the public.

Mass media should takes action on curb pornografhic

from being shown on television and internet.

Baby dumping is becoming common problem in

this country and this problem never end.
We dont want more babies dying.
So, Individual , society and government must
stand together to prevent this problem.
The right of children is must always
be protected
