What is a Still Life?
A still life is a type of painting or drawing of an arrangement of objects, typically
including fruit and flowers and objects contrasting in texture, such as bowls and
glassware.

What is Cropping?
Cropping refers to the removal of the outer parts of an image to improve framing,
emphasize subject matter or change ratio (portrait/landscape).

Grid Method
A method for enlarging a small
design to a full size cartoon with
a large mosaic. It involves
drawing a grid of squares over
the small picture. A similar grid of
larger squares is then drawn
where the mosaic will go and the
design is copied, square by
square, into the full size version.
