Hot rolled Steel Sheet

Cost : 37,800rs/tonne

Can be galvanised to give

lustre

Uses include automobile

parts like nut ball

Hot rolled products

likehot rolled steel
bars are used in the
welding and
construction trades
to make railroad
tracks and I-beams
G alvanised Iron Sheets

Cost : 52rs/kg for standard

sizes

Zinc coated galvanisation

for chemical resistance

It is widely used especially

in rural and military
buildings such as sheds and
water tanks.
Alum inium corrugated sheets
Cost : 185-270rs/kg

Thickness ranging from

0.35- 1.22mm, 16/75 mm
circular Corrugation

They are widely used for

roofing and wall paneling for
industrial buildings,
warehouses, go downs,
storage sheds, hangers,
power plants, cold storage
sheds, rural housing, stalls &
kiosks, wall panels for high
rise buildings, interior
partition walls, and as pre-
painted building sheets for
decorative applications.
Brass Sheets

Cost : Rs 270- Rs 500/ Kg

Brass Sheetis used in

industrial applications of
grading, grinding and
stitching in sheet metal
works & Furniture, general
engineering, Radiators etc.

All brasses are considered

malleable and ductile.
Brass is considered a low
friction and non-magnetic
alloy
Copper
Cost : Rs 300-Rs 550/ Kg

Copper wire is used in power

generation, power transmission,
power distribution,
telecommunications, electronics
circuitry, and countless types of
electrical equipment.

Properties
High electrical conductivity,
tensile strength, ductility, creep
(deformation) resistance,
corrosion resistance, low thermal
expansion, high thermal
conductivity etc.
Plastic G lass

Object: Plastic glass

Type of Plastic: Polystyrene

Manufacturing Process:
Injection molding followed by
cooling

Properties: Temperature
resistant, ductile, malleable.
Plastic Box

Object: Plastic Box

Type of Plastic: Polystyrene,

Melamine

Manufacturing Process:
Blown Film, Extrusion Blow
Molding, Extrusion Profiles &
Sheet, Injection Blow
Molding, Injection Molding,
Injection Molding (Gas
Assisted), Injection Stretch
Blow Molding, Insert Molding.

Properties: Ductile,
Corrosion resistant, Malleable.
Plastic Bag
Object: Plastic Bag

Type of Plastic: Polyethylene

Manufacturing Process: Traditional

plastic bags are usually made from
polyethylene, which consists of long
chains of ethylene monomers. Plastic
shopping bags are commonly
manufactured by blown film extrusion.

Properties: Polyethylene is of low

strength, hardness and rigidity, but has
a high ductility and impact strength as
well as low friction
PVC Pipe
Object: PVC Pipe

Type of Plastic:
Polymer Polyvinyl
Chloride

Manufacturing
Process: Compression
molding

Properties: Fire
retarding properties ,
Durability ,
Oil/Chemical resistance
Water Bottle
Object: Water Bottle

Type of Plastic: Polyethylene

Terephthalate

Manufacturing Process: The first stage

in bottle manufacturing is stretch blow
molding. The PET is heated and placed in
a mold, where it assumes the shape of a
long, thin tube. (The process by which the
plastic is forced into the mold is called
injection molding.)

Properties: PET provides very good

alcohol and essential oil barrier properties,
generally good chemical resistance and a
high degree of impact resistance and
tensile strength.
