OUR COURSE OBJECTIVE

You will be provided with the necessary tools

to reach A1.1 A1.2 communicative level,
according to the common European Reference
Framework, with which students can
communicate in English using elementary
short phrases about topics of personal interest
to the student, in addition, you will understand
simple readings that use basic vocabulary.
 KNOWING YOUR COMPETENCES

You will understand, use and analyze

written texts, you will develop your
knowledge and possibilities to
participates in society, respecting the
individual process of their peers.

You will know and use everyday

vocabulary, frequently used words
and commonly used expressions to
communicate with the teacher and
peers in a respectful way.

METHODOLOGY

The communicative approach will be used

as the main methodology for this course,
where contextualized situations will be
used to give the different topics proposed
for English I, taking into account topics of
current interest for students so that
meaningful learning can be achieved .
Likewise, grammar explanations will be
made to clarify some issues that, by their
nature, need to be explained in a literal
way.
 EVALUATION

During the course, several

evaluation processes will be
taken into account, such as
participation in class, reading
comprehension activities, exams,
platform works, workshops,
presentations, among others.
The course will be evaluated with
a scale from 1 to 5.

The semester is divided into

three moments.
The first one worth 35%.
The second one worth 35%.
The third one worth 30%.
