Microsoft HoloLensis the first self-contained, holographic computer,

enabling you to engage with your digital content and interact with
holograms in the world around you.

Microsoft HoloLensis a technological product introduced by

Microsoft based on Hologram Technology with Mixed reality,
augmented reality, head-mounted display, smartglasses
 Hologram Technology

Holography is a photographic
technique that records the light
scattered from an object, and then
presents it in a way that appears
three-dimensional (3D). Holograms
pop up in movies such as "Star Wars"
and "Iron Man," but the technology
has not quite caught up to movie
magic yet.

Windows Mixed Reality (formerly Windows
Holographic) is a mixed reality platform
developed by Microsoft, built on the
Windows 10 API.

Mixed reality (MR), sometimes

referred to as hybrid reality, is the
merging of real and virtual worlds
to produce new environments and
visualizations where physical and
digital objects co-exist and interact
in real time. Mixed reality takes
place not only in the physical world
or the virtual world, but is a mix of
reality and virtual reality,
encompassing both augmented
reality and augmented virtuality.

Augmented Reality isa live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world
environment whose elements areaugmented(or supplemented) by
computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS
data.
 Head-Mounted Display
A head-mounted display (or helmet-mounted display,
for aviation applications), both abbreviated HMD, is a
display device, worn on the head or as part of a helmet,
that has a small display optic in front of one (monocular
HMD) or each eye (binocular HMD). A HMD has many
uses including in gaming, aviation, engineering, and
medicine.

Holographic computing experiences with MicrosoftHoloLens are
different from existing experiences, such as augmented reality (AR)
and virtual reality (VR).

HoloLens looks incredibly exciting, but what we've seen so far is a
