Actress
Plays roles in plays, shows, movies, etc. Might be told to sing or dance.
Work will take a long time.
Interior Designer
Design interiors of homes, buildings, etc. Has to find out what the
customer would like.
Work Environment
Actress
Works with all different kinds of actors, directors, producers, etc.
Interior Designer
Works with home owners, companies, etc.
Job Tasks/Duties
Actress
Study and rehearse roles from scripts in order to interpret, learn and memorize
lines, stunts, and cues as directed.
Work closely with directors, other actors, and playwrights to find the
interpretation most suited to the role.
Interior Designer
Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for
approval.
Confer with client to determine factors affecting planning interior environments,
such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function.
Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and
utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination.
Education or Training Required
Actress

Actress
It is not very easy to find a job as an actress/actor now. Especially if you
want to be a big star.

Fairly easy to find a job as an interior designer. Although, you have to
know how your client specifically wants there house, building, etc.
