1st Grade Reflection

1st Grade

Teaching 1st grade will be a great experience and it will be so much

fun!
The students are fun and wanting to learn something new!
They were all well mannered and did what was asked of them.
Classroom

The environment needs to be fun making the children want to be there

and learn.
The classroom needs to have a lot of posters on the walls of learning
examples.
While observing I watched the students used the posters on the wall for
help when they needed it before asking the teacher.
Learning

The way the students acted to learning was very fun to watch, when
they did certain subjects.
The teacher pulled up learning videos, that were songs, that the kids
sung along too.
The kids were enjoying the teachers learning and they were learning
fast by the songs.
Testing

Their end of the year testing was over what they learned.
They were to learn their over sight words and how to pronounce them.
The students at this age don't take the STAAR test like the older kids
do.
