WHY I RESEARCHED FACEBOOK
GROUPS
Facebook groups are a fast and easy way to get in
touch or post information to many people at the same
time.
Facebook is a great way to connect with many people
and/or groups.
Most people are familiar with Facebook and know their
way around it, but if they dont chances are their
children do and they can get help from them.
WELCOME TO FACEBOOK
Facebook was founded by Mark
Zuckerberg, his college roommates,
and fellow students at Harvard
Andrew McCollum, Dustin
Moskovitz, Chris Hughes, and
Eduard Saverin. They launched
Facebook on Feb. 4, 2004
They created Facebook as a way for
Harvard students to communicate
with each other and later expanded
to people around the world.

with friends, family and coworkers who
live close or around the world.
You can organize the people you want in
your group.
Can link devices and take it with you
wherever you go, so that the group can
always stay in touch with each other
(Laptops, Tablets, Cell phones).

CHALLENGES AND COSTS?

Challenges
One of the challenges of Facebook is being able to monitor the group from
posting inappropriate items.
Another challenge is keeping everybody involved and engaged to keep posting
and commenting.
There is also the challenge of posting event and announcements in a timely
manner to give students and parents enough time to plan for upcoming events.

Good News: Facebook is FREE for everyone. You can put money into it but
