Baha'i faith emphasizes monotheism and
believes in one eternal transcendent God. Its
guiding focus is to encourage the unity of all
people on the earth so that justice and peace
may be achieved on earth. Baha'i revelation
contends the prophets of major world religions
reflect some truth or element of the divine,
believes all were manifestations of God given
to specific communities in specific times, and
that Baha'u'llah is an additional prophet meant
to call all humankind.

Holiday (Coming of Age)
Coming of Age Day, or Adult's Day, honors every
person that has turned 20 years old over the past
year.
The girls always wear a gorgeous and very
expensive kimono, and the boys usually wear a
regular suit and tie but a few will wear traditional
Japanese dress.
The ceremony takes place in every city ward around
Japan; everyone can attend the event at their local
city office at around 11:30am. Though the day
starts much earlier for these young adults,
especially the girls who spend countless hours fixing
their hair and makeup. After many tireless hours of
getting ready, they can then join up with others at a
select location where dozens of photographers are
waiting for them.

Yakitori is made up of small pieces of
chicken meat, liver and vegetables
skewered on a bamboo stick and grilled
over hot coals.

Peace Memorial Park)
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is a park in the
middle of Hiroshima city that contains several
memorials to the atomic bomb victims of Hiroshima.
The park is a constant reminder of the tragic past
when Hiroshima suffered the worlds first atomic
bomb attack. Today the park attracts visitors from
all over the world and the city of Hiroshima is a
vibrant, green and attractive modern city.
