Introduction:

A solar grass cutter is a machine that uses

blades to cut lawn at an even length. Even
more sophisticated devices are there in
every field, power consumption becomes
essential for future.
The power required for operation will
obtained from the battery which gets
charged by sun rays using solar panels.
The final outcome of the proposed work
would be a non polluting and cost efficient.
Objectives of the study
solar power charged lawn mower is
very friendly to our
environment.
To help human deal with the day.
To investigate ways of controlling the
lawn mower during
movement, charging and to combine
our knowledge in microcontroller.
Reduce rate of accident
Problem Statement
Classical grass cutters with heavy
engines create noise pollution and local
air pollution due to the combustion in the
engine.
Motor powered engines require periodic
maintenance such as changing the
engine oils etc.
Solar ways grass cutters are environment
friendly and even a non skilled person
can operate.
Literature survey
first grass cutter was invented by Edwin Budding in 1830 in
Thrupp, just outside Stroud, in Gloucestershire, England.
Budding's mower was designed primarily to cut the grass on
sports grounds and extensive gardens, as a superior alternative
to the scythe, and was granted a British patent on August 31,
1830
