Logistics I was hired to help transition an online shipping company to a bar code reading conveyor
Challenge system. The challenge was to change the way managers and employees thought about the
shipping process and make the change to a more efficient process.

I took action by:

Creating alliances with staff on multiple shifts
Action Learning the current process and skill gaps
Arranging for advanced training and promotion of current staff
Teaming up with the onsite engineer and IT department to identify pain points
Improving team meetings and shift handoffs

Result Managers and staff were brought on to the new conveyor system and were able to double the
amount of merchandise shipped. Skill gaps were minimized.
