Group - 6
It consists a drum in which the mixture of detergent and water is kept and it is rotated
by human power given through pedal.
This rotation of the drum creates a turbulent flow of the mixture due to centrifugal force
which removes dirt from the clothes.
During rinsing process, fresh water comes from inlet and the detergent mixture is
removed from outlet and the drum is rotated at a higher rpm using gear mechanism.
For drying process, water is drained out from outlet and drum is rotated at higher rpm
due to which water is drained out of clothes due to centrifugal action.
