History
Baby was delivered NSVD and was kept
with mother as normal new born and
baby was normal.
During post natal round found not
feeding well and vomitting
During cardiac screening baby did not
passed for CHD screening so shifted to
NICU and admitted to R/O CHD.

Wt:3.7kg
Length:49cm
OFC:33cm
HR: 136/minute
R/R:50/minute
BP:63/34 MAP 43mmhg
Mothers history
Age:26 years
PG
No history of any cardiac illness.
DM PIH
No history of PROM
On admission
Kept NPO
IV fluids
IV antibiotics
Echo cardiography done shows:
Moderate PDA
Result of cardiac assessment
2nd day of admission
Started feeding orally
Gradually Discontinued IVF
Baby was on room air
Marinating Vital Signs
4th day of admission
Baby discharge home
With OPD follow up with cardiology.

be for the rest of his /her
life
It takes a very special kind of person to
care for a child is much even though ,its not
