C Traditionally, creativity was thought to be of two
types:

O 1. Eminent Creativity (Creativity of those who
D achieved eminence in their chosen creative field.)

2. Everyday Creativity (Creativity that everyone

has and which manifests itself in our daily acts.)
 The Four C Model

C In 2001,James C. Kauffman & Roland A. Beghetto,
suggested two more and placed them between the
M above two, to present the 4C Model of Creativity .
O I. Little-c (everyday creativity-can be found in nearly all
D people)
E II. Mini-c (creativity inherent in the learning process)
L III. Pro-c (professional-level expertise in any creative area)
IV. Big-C (reserved for the great)

It could be telling stories, or scrapbooking,
or teaching, or playing the guitar, or
developing a new recipe.

decide to be deliberately and meaningfully

E paintings for the walls of your house, design and stitch

then you exhibited whats called the little-c kind of

creativity.

The next level of creativity manifests itself when

photographer, a graphic designer, or an interior
designer.

C The final level of creativity is called Eminent
Creativity, which means that your creativity has
M made a lasting impression on your specific field of

L The BIG-C creativity is evident in the works of the
greats such asLeonardo Da Vinci,Pablo Picasso,
Shakespeare,Einstein, and so on.
