Atmosphere Structure
The atmosphere is a thin membrane
surrounds the entire planet.
Membrane: A protective barrier that lets
some stuff in, while keeping some things
out

Climate Change Consequences
Climate change is affecting species both directly and indirectly.
We are now going to play a game to learn about the different ways in which
species are being affected by climate change.
1. Read the factsheet about how ten different species are affected by climate change.
2. Mix the cards up and place them face-down in a grid of four cards by five cards.
3. Take it in turns to turn over two cards and see if they match you must match a text card with the
relevant picture card.
4. If they match, you keep the cards and get another go. If they dont, turn the cards back over, keeping
them in the same place. It is then your opponents turn.
1. In pairs, look at
this graph and
determine what the
X and Y axis of the
graph tells you.
2. discuss what the
graph says about
levels of carbon
dioxide in the air.

Climate Change Evidence
Prolonged seasons - The season doesnt come on time or
too early (season shift).
EX: Spring come too soon, prolonged rainy season,
winter is not coming
