into, the edge of the cross hole must be
inspected for chips and burrs, whether
attached or loose.
On the ear that the cross gets pounded
into, inspect the broach surface for
damage, chips, and burrs, whether
attached or loose. No raised material
permitted.
Mark ear to certify the inspection took
place and was acceptable.
