6 Goals to Achieve Equity and Access for All

1) Equitable access to educational resources.

2) Multiple pathways to success in order to meet the needs of our diverse students.

3) Recruit, employ, support, & retain racially and linguistically diverse staff.

4) Intentionally remedy assessments that lead to overrepresentation of students of color in


SpEd/Discipline and underrepresentation in Gifted & Talented/AP courses.

5) Students and staff will have the opportunity to understand racial identity, cultural competence,
cultural responsiveness and how their identity affects themselves and others.

6) The District shall welcome and empower families, including underrepresented families of color,
as essential partners in their students education, school planning and decision making.
