INTRODUCTION
The Enrollment process has always been a continuous activity in
every school. It has an attempt to build a basic repository for collecting,
storing, and reporting authorized data of all enrolled students. Given
that technology is rapidly advancing, almost everything can be
automated even the handling of an enrollment process.
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
The researchers developed and designed a computerized
enrollment system for the school which will help the institution to
efficiently control and monitor all enrollment transaction using a
versatile application of computer technology. Computers are not only
capable of carrying out calculations or at interpreting instructions but
are highly needed in data processing.
School Profile
To serve the lord and help young people get a Christian education while
developing academic abilities which will contribute to the development of the
community.

This has been the noble objective of Daily International School since the
very start of its operation. It offers education for preschool, elementary, and
high school.
GENERAL PROBLEM

How to create a system that will help Daily International School in

improving its manual enrolment system which will eliminate waste of
resources and time, eliminate unnecessary process and data loss
during the enrollment period?
SPECIFIC PROBLEM
How to develop a module that will display all the information needed
by every student during enrollment?

How to design a system that will incline to the design that Daily
International School wants?

How to develop a system that is easy to operate but efficient to use?

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

To create a system that will help Daily International School

improve its manual enrolment system by eliminating waste of
resources and time, unnecessary process and data loss during the
enrollment period.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
To develop a module that will display all the information needed by
every student during enrollment.

To design a system that will incline to the design that Daily

International School wants.

To develop a system that is easy to operate but efficient to use.

METHODOLOGY

To achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers used

Sashimi Waterfall Model for system development. The stages are The
stages are: Requirements, Design and Architecture, Development and
Coding, Quality Assurance and Software Testing, Implementation, and
Maintenance and Support.
Stage 1: Requirements

The researchers browsed theses as guide and conducted online

studies regarding the system. They also conducted brainstorming about
the system in terms of design, functionality, and over-all output.
Stage 2. Design and Architecture

The researchers studied some existing automated enrollment

system for the basic interface of the system.
Stage 3. Development and Coding

The development is to be done in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0

programming language and Oracle Database.
Sketch of user interface will be designed in a well-presented
manner.
The codes will be written and be assigned to objects.
Stage 4. Quality Assurance and System Testing

Initial testing will be conducted while the system is undergoing

the development process. Each member of the team will test the
different functionalities and looked for possible errors.
Stage 5. Implementation

The system will be installed in the computer units of Daily

International School.
Stage 6. Maintenance and Support

The researchers will maintain the system using virus-free

computer. Update can easily performed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0
and Oracle Database that was used.
