INTRODUCTION

We are far beyond of its TECHNOLOGY` The

application of its products in many fields of human endeavour
were undeniably powerful tool that its impact made a permanent
change the way we handle certain task of everyday life. It was so
attached that every business or organization for example, would not
operate or perform well enough. Relying on the product of modern
technology is indeed necessary accessory of nowadays life.
The concept of computerizing or automating enrolment
system is not very hard to understand. It is done simply because it
opens a new option that is essential in achieving desired
organizational outcomes. It is done simply because it opens a new

outcomes as we struggle from day to day task and operation. For
as student enrolees increase every year, its becoming harder to deal
with he latter enrolment procedure. In fact several schools and
universities around the world greatly appreciate the conduct of
studies about computerizing enrolment system and several of them
are now using either Offline Enrolment System to meet the
standards of these days.

The researchers came up with this study inspired by

these many local school and universities that are currently using
their advance method of enrolment system. The primary factors
that are considered by the researchers in designing proposed
system.

effect of the manual enrolment process such as: difficulty on
accommodating enrolees due to lack of manpower, tedious task on
filling out the registration form , great tendency of getting error on
information provided by the student
due to unfilled part of the form or due
to handwritten factors, and irregular
or delayed updates of students

SETTING
OF THE
STUDY
 This study was conducted in President Diosdado
Macapagal Memorial National High School ( PDMMNHS) located
at Bulaklakan, Gloria Oriental Mindoro. PDMMNHS formerly as
extension of Malamig National High School (MNHS) is a public
institution and one of the leading educational institutions in the
province of Oriental Mindoro which provides quality and relevant
education to the region and offers wide variety of educational
services from Secondary Courses which was approved and
recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

 The researchers used the Input-Process-
Output (IPO) Model as a framework or conceptual
schema in conducting the research for the
development of the proposed system. The model
identifies programs inputs, outputs, and the
processing steps required to transform the inputs
into the outputs

 The input will be the computerized enrolment
forms for each dedicated users: student (assuming that
he/she is permitted and qualified to enrol), registrar,
and admin. All the inputted data will be processed,
organized and stored within the database. The output
then, as for the student, is a hard copy of their
registration form and as for the registrar and admin, is
the updated records to which they can generate reports.
ASSUMPTION
OF THE
STUDY
The study assumes that:

1. The defined framework is an accurate reflection of the

phenomena to which the study refers to.

2. The results of the study are relevant to the proposed system

application.

3. The size of the sample being used during testing and debugging
is sufficient to detect necessary findings to which the results are
generalized which add consistency and flexibility in the case of
the student.
SIGNIFICANCE
OF THE STUDY
The study will be beneficial to the following:

To the School. In which it will provide a new setting of PDMMNHS

high school enrolment system by:
- saving storage space in managing student data/information by
controlling data redundancy.
- adding consistency for data collection, updates, and retrieval.
- boosting time efficiency in processing/managing collected data.
- reducing the workload of those who usually do the job through
data atomicity.
- lessening unintended error.
 To the Students. It will help and comfort the students in enrolling.

To the Researchers. Working with proposed Offline enrolment

system will give a lot of experience and knowledge that will eventually
be helpful to the researchers in pursuing each personal goal

To the Future Researchers. It will serve as their guide or reference,

as whether or not of the same fields, to gain knowledge for their
research activities in organizing and expressing their thoughts for their
chosen field of study.

1. General Objective
This study aims to develop an Offline enrolment system for
high school students at PDMMNHS
2. Specific Objective
- To provide more centralized, controllable and organize data
management system for accessing, collecting, processing, updating,
tracking and retrieving of high school students.
- To reduce humanly errors and time processing by reducing the
workload of school faculties/staff subjected to this matter.
- To produce fast, easy, and more comprehensive enrolment for
high school students.
SCOPE AND
LIMITATION
OF THE
STUDY
 This study is connected on developing an Offline enrolment
system for the secondary level students of PDMMNHS which will only
include the integration of the following based from the existing system:
computerized enrolment process (process only includes managing student
records and assigning academic load during course and class enrolment) .
The proposed system will be just a computerized version of the
latter system that is capable of executing queries andupdates which will
mostly cover some major processes during enrolment and therefore
limited to be used for other purposes such as checking eligible student
who can enrol based on the needed requirement such as grades average
and other necessary requirements,
